@@naveenmanjappa7916 If you are using fast charge from some charging station then the cost will be this, but you will charge your ev in home mostly. In that case, it will cost less than 1rs/km.

Why only petrol pumps should have fast chargers? I can see that in the future all Malls, Dhabas, Hotels, Restaurants will have solar panels above their roofs and parking lot. The solar energy generation through this system can be used to charge cars and even power the lights in those establishments and will be a huge earning source for them. It will reduce hydrocarbon emissions and a great 'green' initiative....

Because in highways, Petrol pumps are easily available, while Malls are rarely seen in Highways... Petrol pump owners can start Fast charging service as they already have Infrastructure and staff..

Also service cost of diesel is much more than service cost of ev. So we should factor that cost also which comes to around 1 rs per km more in diesel. Baaki rahi battery life ki baat to diesel car bhi 10 saal baad scrap ho jati h ncr mein.

Bhai pr ev wala model diesel se 5 lakh mehnga b to hai 5 lakh k diesel me car aram se 60K km chal jaegi jb ev 60000 km chal jaegi tb break even point aaega aur mujhe nhi lgta normally log itna drive krte

The owner is quite clear on the car...He has cleared all the doubts regarding the doubts of the car... Just a doubt regarding the car, when the car is at hill and you are at hold and you relase the brake, does the car hold for a few seconds until the acceleration is done? And just a suggestion to the interviewer.. Please listen to the person after asking the question till the end..Please don't cut the person in the middle (please treat it in a healthy way)

There should be solar cells in EV. So regular driving for 10 to 15 km should be with solar energy regularly. So One may need electric charging only on highway. Please comment

Don't think that solar panels on top of a car will be sufficient to give any meaningful charge to a standard car. However, I can see that in the future all dhabas, hotels, restaurants and malls will have solar panels above their parking lot. The solar energy generation through this system can be used to charge cars and even power the lights in those establishments and will be a huge earning source. It will reduce hydrocarbon emissions and a great 'green' initiative....

Depends on sunlight availability. This year will launch in USA also. Do you have any idea? Please share if you have. When will such vehicle launch in India?

Mere 3 no ghar pe solar system lagi he. 1 saal se. 3.25 KV me 10 panel aati he. Summer me 7a.m. se 7 p.m. tak me 15 unit energy generate hota he. Matlab ki 1 panel se average 1.5 unit energy banti he. Aur 1.5 unit se ye gaadi maximum 5 se 10 km jyada chalegi.

Main issue charging station kaa hee hai. Koi advice yaa technological advice dain. Main ek saal se lenaa chahta hoon. Par le nahee paa raha hoon. Kyonki mujhe long route ke liye chahiye.

Great saving. . Giving huge amount at once is not big deal in comparison to what we pay 2-3000₹every 2nd or 3rd day on fuel. . Just plug in in the evening, , and be ready by the morning.

well not really zero pollution as electric generation 70% still uses coal, which also contributes to green houses!

I'm getting an EV, but its not 0% Pollution, the electricity produced is from coal. However, I hope Delhi Government produces electricity with Solar as much as possible

You are missing the higher depreciation and insurance cost of EV vs Internal Combustion Engine. So the break even is not at 60,000km but at 120,000km per my calculation

Also tires need to be replaced every 20,000km, since regenerative braking eats more tires. It’s not the alignment issue
