Amare at Disney's Swan Reserve Resort 2023 | Full Dining Review | Upscale Mediterranean Cuisine

Amare is a Mediterranean restaurant located in Walt Disney World's newest resort, The Swan Reserve. Unlike most resorts on Disney property, the Swan Reserve is actually operated by The Marriot line of hotels and works to complement its sister resorts The Swan and Dolphin. We've had the privilege of being able to dine at both Dolphin restaurants, Shula's Steakhouse and Rosa Mexicano, and we were quite impressed. Our experiences there had us wondering just how palatable Marriott's newest resort restaurant is and we decided to stop by to see if Amare's Mediterranean cuisine matches or exceeds our experiences dining on this classic style of cuisine in NY. We go over our thoughts, the décor, entrees, desserts, style and just how well we think Amare compares to the other restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin line up.

I love how you both dress up for your dinner dates each and every time! Sam, the saffron/Dijon color on you is very complementary and Jay's hair was definitely on point. I agree that their crockery in the blue and white tones was amazing but missed elsewhere on decor and overall ambiance. Food looked delightful and you both talked about what made the taste in each dish sing. Appreciate the nuances in your food reviews and don't worry about the scores so much. This is an OPINION! Which we need to see. I applaud your aplomb with these restaurant vlogs!

FRANK!!! What a happy boy! The food looked delicious. We love Mediterranean food. The Orlando/Disney area has too many great places to choose from.

Frank was in heaven with that steak 😆. I can attest to the food tasting as good as it looked! We need to expand our Mediterranean palate in Orlando. There were a lot of places in New York we frequented.

Me just now registering that the Swan and the Swan Reserve are two different resorts 😮 These resorts remain utterly unfamiliar to us at this point in our Disney journey, so we definitely appreciate the quick property tour! I also did not realize that there were gray areas between mocktail and cocktail, which just goes to show how much we still have to learn about eating and drinking. 😝 But I can always get behind some bread service, no matter where it falls on the sliding scale. Big time meat lovers over here, and the polpetti and the filet both looked amazing. I make Pita sandwiches, too, Sam! 😃 Amare looked like a solid meal, glad to know that the Reserve has some Swan-tier dinner options! Great video, guys!

Yes, Marriot has three pretty interesting resort options now. The Swan Reserve is the newest on property at Disney too. The gray area surprised me too with the alcohol free cocktail 😆. The porterhouse here was incredible, honestly need to go back and give it a 9. The cut and preparation with the sauce was near perfection. Definitely recommend Amare if looking for Mediterranean cuisine in Disney! Thank you 😃.

Fuel at the Dolphin is awesome to just grab a nice cup of coffee and some light bits. Went there most mornings for break feast before hitting the park and once for a light dinner of sandwichs

We probably walk into fuel every time we're in The Dolphin but have never eaten there. The asthetic just looks so cool to us. Happy to know the sandwiches are as good as they look! The Dolphin is on our list of resorts to stay at so hopefully we can try out Fuel soon 😃.

So if you do Uber there, how does that work with the ticket?

The Uber can just drop you off in front without having to go to the parking lot where the gate/ticket is.

I don’t think there’s anything on this menu that I wouldn’t enjoy! Not a big fan of octopus but here I believe I would be willing to give it a try again. As Jenn from @timtracker said, Theme-park-foodies are on it with the food reviews! I like your reviews better than Disney Food Blog. It was so nice for Jenn to say that, sometimes we feel so small compared to all the other big creators in our area and hearing that from someone we look up to, really meant a lot to us. Ahhh we love Disney Food Blog, they are definitely the OG's, but their content is definitely a different style than ours.
