Messed the box up! Hurt a finger and the tear side ripped short.🤔 Love the little watch and use it a lot throughout the day. Wanted to find how to get more use out of it. I love the black one in video, mine is green. It’s comfortable and I forget it’s on. It sometimes lights up at night and it flashes red and blue while I’m sleeping under band. The second charge needed faster than the first. Lastly, I don’t like getting it wet even though it’s waterproof. Overall happy with purchase. I love how it tracks my deep sleep and other vitals. It’s peace of mind.

Update from someone who received the watch 2/24/22- the manual has absolutely none of that band information in it anymore, and only has page 1-11 in English to connect the device. Which is why I'm here trying to make sure I'm connecting the band right since it wants to flop all about my wrist :p

Very informative and what I was looking for on opening it as it's a present for my daughter and for setup and especially setup for Alexa. I wanted to charge it before she got it, but they way the box is packaged with the pull-tab to tear it open, you can't really do that unless you get creative and unglue the flap and then glue it back maybe.

Just swipe sideways to bring up Alexa and tell it to set an alarm, timer, or reminder for five minutes, whichever follows-up to remind you again in another five minutes. Say, "Alexa, set a timer for five minutes." When the timer finishes, say, "Alexa, restart my timer." You can get creative and define a routine you can call each time you go through your regimen.

I like to keep the boxes because I re-sell all my gadgets a few months or years later and buyers like the boxes. I am unsure why they sealed the boxes this way; perhaps there is some security problem they were having with retail theft.

I started to and was clicking the ones i dont want allow and forget to start the first thing I clicked the english and it went to green (pair first) then nothing happen then i check the states on my phone went to china or japan or something then the states went to english but now can see anything on Alexa and all the stuff you started but on the band can only see the english i clikc it and went to pair first again but nothing happen what am i gonna do now

You can buy bands online! Most of not all colors you’d want. The middle piece of the band can be popped out. 😊

Mine wont connect to Alexa, it's always says authorization failed so it's going back as I chose this band over another one I favoured because it is suposed to have Alexa but it doesn't work!

TO ANYONE HAVING THE ISSUE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO POWER THE WATCH ON, EVEN WHEN CHARGING: Basically, I contacted the company and it seems that this was a big oversight in the manual. Super great, complex manual, but they forgot to tell you how to turn it on lmao. Basically, the band 5 almost always comes completely dead from the factory. After all, it is a brand new battery. And, with the kind of battery it uses, it takes about 20 minutes to “pop off” and wake up the battery, if you get my drift. So, just plug the watch’s charger into a usb brick and click the other end of the charger onto the back of the watch, and boom. It’s charging. Give it at least 30 minutes , or 60% before the setup process. NOW: FOR PEOPLE WHO SAY THE BATTETY IS BS Again, with this kind of battery, it takes 1-2 weeks for it to “grow”, so expect the battery the first couple days to be dismal. But, for me, after 2 weeks, I can last an entire day with everything turned on and go to bed at 80%. That reminds me of Another thing. If there is one thing that smart watch owners hate doing, it’s charging their smart watch. Well, this one charges super quickly. So, i would advise to wear this thing 24/7 (unless you don’t want to wear it to sleep, in that case charge it at night) and only charge it while you are during the shower. It often charges to 99% or so, while i’m in the shower. And I take quick showers. Hope this helps!

You can get notified and hang up, there's an app that enables you to answer calls with Mi Band or Amazfit Band by remapping a button but since it doesn't have a speaker you'll still need your phone to hear the person you talking with

Hi; A couple of things come to mind. Are you on an Apple? Are you sure you have the right app? I would uninstall and reinstall the app. I have dealt with a dozen of these and not seen that problem. It always looks like what it does in the video.

Agreed... in general eat less, walk more but these AmazFits do more than track your steps, like keeping tabs on your heart, providing alerts for texts and phone calls and for me this one is great because it has Alexa - I see it JUST went on sale for $35 at B&H and Amazon - Great Christmas present.
