Now that’s how to do a comparison video. No ‘fence sitting’ like a lot of reviewers. Gave the info for both watches. Told us which one you personally prefer and why (skinny wrists) plus the thickness of the watch. But also then said the water proof wasn’t a big deal for you and took into account the price (the most important). Brilliant. Keep it up. Helped me a lot. Ps: what os does the watch run?

Only if you live in cold weather you understand the major advantage of having physical buttons (Stratos) vs relying exclusively on the touch screen (Pace). Winter gloves don’t usually work with touch screens, and ever the ones that do are cumbersome, specially on a tiny screen.

Question... and I assume you will only be able to answer this if you have your Pace on the latest firmware. Is it possible to set a WHITE background during an activity like a run? I've watched different videos by different people on different firmwares showing clear differences, but I can't tell whether that setting is available somewhere? A former Huami employee says that they think it is available (as it is on the Stratos and Stratos 3).

Excellent comparaison but you mention barometer on the stratos , I have looked at the manual and every other review and nobody mention a barometer. I would buy the watch if it have a Baro?!

Bought this a month ago, was attracted by all the features (GPS, HR monitor, phone connection, offline music) at a low price. I have had a TERRIBLE time with this watch. Have to restart watch whenever I want to connect it to my phone, bluetooth music is terrible (cuts in and out constantly whenever I have GPS function running), GPS mileage is off about 2%, and yesterday following an update, the workout tracking function was GONE. Nowhere to be found; couldn't track my run. Customer service has been abysmal I will be returning

This is a nice review thanks, subbed! Can I ask does the "pace" field randomly jump around on these while running? I am wondering if it is averaged over a few seconds like a Garmin and the number moves smoothly, or flicks between eg 5 mins per km to 5.30 perkm and back..

Danny Boy! Just got mine. Still getting used to size. Which is strange as had Suunto Observer 44x13, & Sportura at 12mm. Specs shows Suuntos biggest at approx Suunto 9 50x50x17, then Garmins 43x43x13.5~15, then Stratos 46x46x12.7. Ambit 18, Core 14.5. It may haven't worn a watch for a while, but Amazfit could design similar size but lower looking profile.

How did you get the pace to sync to the app over WiFi? It will not work at all, and I had trouble signing up for the app over WiFi too it wouldn’t work! I managed to sync over hotspot but it still didn’t sync steps

Pace doesn't have music player where as the stratos does, it also has more fitness functions as swimming pool training

A very important detail that he left out, the pace does not have onboard music meaning you have to carry your phone with you meanwhile with stratos you can load 2gb of mp3s on the watch itself and then you only need bluetooth earbuds to listen to the music

Love the minimal design of the PACE.. too bad it's not entirely waterproof .. it would be nice to take it into the shower for a wash or swim sometimes
