Yeah man, I couldn’t believe the reel fell off, I’m happy I was still able to get it in though, thanks! Yeah I was really happy with the day, what an amazing time fishing!

@@McFlyAngler lol, i'm glad you caught it before it went for a swim lol. Oh yeah that was a good thing. On some of my spinning reels i will tighten them down in the rod and zigzag a heavy duty zip tie around both sides the reel base and rod just incase. Nothing like reeling in a big fish and the reel come loose. I know you can't do that on a fly rod though. Oh yeah that was a good day

I always suggest a local fly shop first, if they don’t have what you’re looking for, go to any of the online retailers. Jstockard is good, avid max, etc. if you want synthetic only, fly tiers dungeon is awesome prices!
