Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share my recent trip to the Philippines and my search for the best brunch buffet in Manila. After the Spiral Buffet closed down, I was on a mission to find a replacement, and I think I've struck gold!
I found an amazing brunch buffet at the Grand Kitchen, located at the Grand Hyatt Manila in the BGC area. Thank you so much to all that have reached out with the recommendations; this buffet is truly the best brunch buffet in Manila, and it's not hard to see why.
First, the food is incredible! They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including brigades of chefs cooking dishes to order in a kitchen arena-like setting, as well as serving carts that come to you with a spectacular beef wellington, roasts with Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings, delicately prepared whole roasted fish and seafood, and even a made-to-order boozy table-side tiramisu. It's the best of both worlds, with a world-class Vegas-style buffet with all the stations and the yum cha dim sum style of bringing food to you!
But what really makes this brunch buffet the best in the Philippines is the quality of the ingredients and dishes, the exceptional hospitality from the servers, hosts, and chefs, and the grandeur, abundance, and indulgence of an over-the-top buffet. As great and grand as the buffets in Las Vegas are, this one has it beat.

Good morning Tim. That beef Wellington looks great and the fish look so yummy. I was never a meat eater. I love seafood and Peking duck. Chilean sea bass is my favorite fish. I love sushi and foie gras. A good dim sum is good once in a while. I'm glad you featured the buffet at the Hyatt. I would surely love to try it. The Porchetta and the Beef Wellington both looked particularly good to me today. Also the Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding and the humongous Beef Brisket... This is the kind of buffet I would have to take tasting bites of the foods, so I could get some of as many items as possible. Even the fresh salad greens looked tempting as I was imagining the different salad dressings to choose from. Hoping the tempura stayed crispy and hot for you Tim!!! Starting with a Wellington at the tableside, going to be a good meal. The Bolognese spaghetti looked perfect as did the steak. Nice you got to most of it, despite the late start. Good variety of dishes but can't be number one - no duck. Ha, ha. Best to you in 2025. Blessings from Oregon.

With two 5 star hotels in BGC it is a difficult decision on which brunch to eat at. The Shangri-La has grain-fed prime rib from Australia and duck. I believe you made the right choice because of the sea bass. Happy Holidays and thanks for a great tour of buffets and other eats this year. I look forward to see what in store for 2025 but it okay to take some time off and rest.

Another wonderful video. If i went there I don't know where I would even start. Unlike Tim I love vegetables, although (unlike Tim again) potatoes are near the bottom of my list. So I think my top choices would be the empress fish, the noodles with sauce and _lots_ of delicious eggplant, and I think I would give the oysters a try. The tiramisu for dessert, and if there was something sweet from South East Asia I would have that too. I would be stuffed by then, which is why buffets are such a bad deal for me! Good thing I can watch for free.

In the Philippines, we use the word "po" as a sign of respect, especially when speaking to someone older or in a position of authority. It’s a big part of Filipino culture and shows politeness in conversations.

Hello Tim, in your opinion what is the best buffet in metro Manila? We will be visiting Manila in Feb, we will treat family and friends for a buffet meal.

Oh you're going to have a fantastic trip! Being able to tour many of the buffets in Manila and I'm happy to see that the Manila Hotel is very good however, the okada hotel has probably the best buffet there. Unlimited lobster, a cheese room, Prime rib. And the drinks that are included also adds to the attraction. Hope you have a fantastic visit soon
