When i got back into the hobby, i knew having one tank wouldn't last long ! I have kept a Malawi set up in the past, so this time, i can't stop thinking about a South American tank. I am thinking about geophagus and a green terror, but you have just thrown a "Spanner in the works" with this fantastic Malawi video ! Realistically, it has to be one or the other as i already have a fair sized tank full of Green and black ruby barbs. I know i will eventually give in to both ! Awesome video! Another really good aquatics store, definitely another to add to the list to visit if I ever visit that part of the world! Loads of the species there are the same my friend keeps in his aquarium, like the Yellow Labs, Sulphur Peacock and Demasoni Mbuna, really cool to see them in one of your videos as they're really interesting fish to watch 😀 Were there any species you saw there you'd like to add to your aquariums? Also, went gliding again today and learnt how to stall a glider and recover from a flat stall which was more fun than I expected, especially when you're pulling G forces to recover!
@Kaityscichlids2 ай бұрын
Wow, well done!! You are definitely braver than me lol, that's awesome to hear your gliding is coming along well :) And honestly main the Trewavasae, I'm a sucker for those! But also I really liked the White Lip Mdokas, I think they are lovely haps
@the88tench32 ай бұрын
@@Kaityscichlids thanks! The flying is going great, will be doing spins at some point which will be interesting for sure 🤣 Hopefully will be solo by early next season! You should definitely give gliding a go, that's something you can do in Australia as a couple of the instructors from where I fly go over for the winter to fly there! Ah nice! Yeah those are really cool species, if I had a cichlid aquarium I'd like a Trewavasae, they look really cool! That's the species your fish called Bart is isn't he? I've never heard of the white lip Mdoka before, they really look unique for sure!

@@Kaityscichlids Ah cool! They're really interesting fish, certainly looks unique for sure and pretty fascinating with how they're adapted to eat algae! They're a bit different to cichlids, but have you ever thought about building an aquarium for any more unusual species like mudskippers or gobies? Those are really cool, and would be a very different kind of fish to build a biotope aquarium for 😀
