Wow, what a breathtaking journey! Your passion for fishing shines through every moment, especially when you released those vibrant fish back into the water. It's a reminder of the connection we have with nature and the importance of preserving it. Truly inspiring!

Yo Rich, awesome video as always! I assume the trip is over but anyway for next time - try to strip set instead of trout/spin set on the fly rod, as well as fighting the fish, tilt the rod away from where the fish is running, you were holding the rod low or high and straight most times and hence lost many fish, single hook (and barbless?) always makes it very difficult, thanks for the video!

Having commented on the previous video I will Amen those comments again and add this. There is something about fishing running water that can't be matched with lake or pond fishing. In Mississippi we fish catfish and spotted bass and other scale fish in the local rivers. Nothing compares to fighting fish in running water. In addition to the adrenaline rush of having bears all around you while trying to fish takes it to the quantum level. All us viewers really appreciate your efforts and photography that never disappoint ❤

Those colorful spawning chums are pretty but in that condition they're not very good table fare. In the end of the video, the one you filleted, looked like a spawning (dark vertical side bars) hen pink (humpy) salmon.

When I lived in Washington state, a blue spinner was my prefered bait for kings. Black flies my prefered for silvers.

Hey Rich. Push froggtoggs to start making the boot foot steel header waders with carbide studs in the boots for us fishing the Great Lakes tributaries! They are the go to wader up here for winter steelhead fishing but the stocking foots aren’t as warm as boot foot and the boot foot you have to add a pair of the strap on style Korkers to them which are heavy and wear out the boots! We need a studded option! They would be a best seller in this region no doubt!

I was just wondering if you on any part of your Alaska trip filmed any content fishing from boat in deep water for like halibut and/or lingcod? So far these videos have been epic! Live to fish, Fish to live! GOD BLESS
