I'd have to say my favorite day trip is the Chase Rescue Sanctuary because I love to cuddle and pet furry animals. They take such good care of the Lemurs and they look and act so happy. I love the Clydesdales, as I've seen them up close in the Cleveland area years ago. Similar horses are also at the county fair, and yes, they are HUGE animals to get close to. Almost hard to believe that they are that big. I wonder how they handle the excessive heat there in Florida, even with the fans blowing hot air around.

Love your videos . My son-in law is 6ft 4 and my daughter is only 5ft5 and you remind me of them. It seems to me you both have really been loving your life since moving to the Villages .I love the golf cart rides you take . I live in Ocala and i don't get to go out as much as i would like because of health problems so i have to do a lot of arm chair traveling. I love Gizmo my daughter had a dog named Gizmo but he died a couple of years ago but she had him cremated . I just had to give up my fur baby Rainy to my Granddaughter in TN i was worried that if i get sick i wouldn't be able to take care of her .She is only 4 but my scottie Bella died 4 years ago she was 16 and i buried her in my back field .I live alone so she was my baby .Like i said i love your videos.

Hi LInda and Jerry. I enjoyed both videos reviewing the day trips. 2 overnight trip I would recommend. especially with grandchildren...the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Clearwater and the Kennedy Space Center and US Astronaut Hall of Fame. The second overnight trip is probably best for kids age 9 and older. Keep on posting the day trips.

Great trips. Was wondering how you find these places? Is it from advertising or word of mouth. Some of my favorite memories are of places we just fell upon. I would love someday to swim with dolphins! Hope you plan some trips to the beach ( Atlantic or Gulf)would love to see that. Thanks

I originally moved to Florida in 1967 and lived in Miami until 1980. During that time I visited many sites and cities. St. Augustine was my favorite. Winter Garden, Busch Gardens, Disney World, Key West, St. Petersburg, Ringling Museum, Sea World, were among the many places I visited. Florida is home to many natural wonders. More should be done to restore and maintain these, especially the waterways. There is no industry that is important enough to be allowed to destroy Florida’s water in the face of clean water shortages all over the world.

I've got to ask how Covid is affecting the Villages. From my prospective in MA things don't look good. Was hoping for an FL trip last year to start looking. Covid cancelled that one is its looking like another is in line. I'm aware of the prices ect.... , two way street there. Do residents seem concerned, or life as usual ? Considering the national press, i'm wondering of the very local press.

Life is pretty much as usual. Most of the reports we hear are from national news. We are taking precautions. Knock on wood.
