I think I would do a black wash over the witch's hat, as well as a soft white/barely grey over the moon on the sign. It's super cute either way, just personal preference. The black around the letters was a nice touch.

I'm just going to say it. You are brilliant. Anyone who can take a $1 junky plastic tray from DT and make it look like an expensive, well loved wooden tray is just brilliant! These all turned out great. Personally, I think a light wash of black on the witch's hat would look great, but it also looks good as is. I too would have cut that gingham ribbon off the cutting board sign. It made it look too busy. What a wonderful, industrious neighbor you have to help with your DIYs and invite you to tea. I literally laughed out loud when she popped up! Thank you for not only sharing your beautiful crafts and love of diying, but also sharing different techniques you have discovered over the years. Holly, if you are not selling your crafts you are missing out on a great opportunity! You could easily be a full time diyer! Have a great week!

Every day, we have two dog food cans that are cleaned, unlabeled & air dried before they go into the recycle bin. I do save stuff but don't have that much room - so only save very special items like small candelabras or pillars, picture frames. I enjoyed all your projects, thanks so much!

First of all I love your nails!! The witches hat did look a little lost when it was on table at that angle, but it looked great hanging up with a frontal view. So I agree with you hubby, leave it the way it is! And those bottles are so stinking cute! We are camping for trick or treat this year and decorating our site. LOL! Yes, I try to avoid her as much as possible! I did paint the hat a wash of black with a touch of purple. It looks awesome! I give away a ton of my crafts to my kids, cause they don't have much since they are just starting out, but I keep some too. Thinking I might do a Christmas tour. Not of the entire house, because I am getting new floors and counter tops cause it's up for sale, and much is packed away already, but the main rooms I decorate, since everyone is curious. Thank you! I absolutely love everything, Holly! I actually had made some apothecary bottles similar to yours with the same exact labels! Mine were transparent so I used glitter to fill the bottle of "horn dust from Unicorn" and some fake hair in the werewolf one, my family loves them! You can take cotton balls and a brown paper bag to make the leaf things under the cotton to make cotton then stick it on a flower stem if ya have trouble finding them you can paint the bag leafs darker works great. Love your diys
