This Dumble collection is excellent, but don't forget that the IK Max model collection (free if you buy the pedal) includes a dozen #0080 (owned by Joe Bonamassa) Dumble models which are also great.

I have the TONEX and got these Dumble tones patched in. OMG they are the best sounds I ever heard even over a real amp. I can only imagine having the real amps in front of me. The chime that rings out on these tones and they way they react with your pickups is unlike any other Ive played on, and I've been playing almost 40 years this July 10th now.

A very good demo John 😊 I’m not 100% sure I’d spend as much as €50 on a set of captures although I have paid for them before - amalgam audio is particularly good for their tone king imperial and Jason Sadites for his jcm800 and Friedman amps. The studio rats capture you mentioned is great too btw 👍 I would say though that I will probably never have the chance to buy a dumble for €50 either so can see the argument for it with employing people and hiring the space etc. Hopefully they do more of these, sounds like they mentioned this is the first of their collections so fingers crossed 🤞

Hi John, as always, your playing and Soulful choosing of notes carry so much feeling, Especially with Your Inspiring Tones that your awesome set of hands Pulls out of these Profiles, of great sounding rare and hard to find amps. Shoot, I'd pay 50 bucks and then some for these Awesome Captures, I never knew or realized the Tonex could sound so good. I was going to sell my Tonex and Capture, but after hearing this demo, I am re-thinking that idea. Man, I just can't seem to get my head around the whole IK Media/Tonex Ecosystem from just hooking the dang thing up with a UA Apollo x4 .,or a Silent Stage, Going Direct to FOH Live Solution like my Kemper or Helix, which always did the job without a glitch. I was also having issues with the Product Manager and finally just gave up on trying to do an update. Will try to get in the manual and search for some help to get this up and running and would gladly purchase Profiles mlike you were playing today, which certainly delivered the goods. Thanks John for the Inspiration, I really appreciate it, as well as all the work you put into your channel. Always Great Stuff and Thanks for Providing some Hope for Digiital Dummies like myself.LOL. Sounds good (of course) but not sure if it's worth it for the price even at $50....maybe that's because I only paid £350 for the Tonex and all its freebie sounds so that the only extra ones I bought were from Tone Junkie at a heavily discounted price (even at full price they were still cheaper than these with the discount). I do agree about the concept of getting studios to capture tones whilst artists are recording albums though, that seems like a great idea.

@@simonhall2682 There is a charge for new gear added, yes, which takes a lot of work and has many associated costs. We also wouldn't be able to provide access to official gear from brands like MESA, Orange, and the like for free and even if we did we'd rather get it fully approved by them to make sure it sounds the best! For regular application updates that aren't a fully new version we typically do not charge. Thank you.

Thanks John, this demo doesn't have much of the digital hash that I hear from your others aka hx stomp fractal etc. it usually shows itself around the point of where a real tube amp would start to breakup. seems most have trouble resolving tone at this point. once you're into the higher gain it's not as noticable. whoever wrote these models did a great job, they have a more refined natural 3 dimensional signature that seems to be missing in your usual demo modelers. reverb sounds better then most also. Thanks again...

May I ask what we are hearing your playback on? .. I mean, is the sound we are hearing coming directly out of your PC/Mac or is it coming from you running the them through the TONEX app and then out through a PA system? or out through another (real world) Amp? To put it another way, is it worth spending £50 quid on this Amp Bundle if all you have is a low powered laptop/PC .. if you follow? I mean what level of PC would one require to get the best sound from these "Amp captures"? I can't believe that listening to them on an ordinary, everyday laptop/PC through headphones could come anywhere close to hearing the real Amp "pushing air" beside you?

I've learnt that modelling and real amps/cabs just don't mix well, particularly if you are hoping the real amp/cab is going to sound anything like the demo sound. For anyone wanting to use modelling as a playing in the room solution, a studio monitor speaker is the best bet. As soon as you run modelling into a real amp/cab, the tones of the amp/cab you are running to will dominate the actual modelled tone. I've been running a GT-1000 Core into a real 112 cab (via amp FX RTN) for 4 years, and even with a modelling speaker (Celestion F12-X200) in the cab, the GT-1000 tones simply don't sound anything like what they do into a studio monitor.

Can you really play rythm guitar under vocals with that kind of amps and tone? So much mids all the time it just sounds like a lead guitar all the time. It's great for instrumental music and playing saxophone-guitar, but... During the TPS Q&A with Jack Griffiths he said the same about the Two-Rock TS1: "it's great if you play lead all the time" Could you make a video about that with the Grammatico stuff or the Litigator on the Stomp? I can't really bond with the muffled Dumble stuff, specially with guitars i play (a Fender Meteora with no trem and suhr thornbuckers, and the Baritone paranormal cabronita with p90s). Rythm guitar is everything! Lead comes after that! 🙂 Thanks!!
