Thanks rcvideoshooter, I am big time onto my radio comms, so its great when other people enjoy what I do. It takes quite a long time to sync the comms but its worth it. Most of my video's have the comms so please keep checking my channel and enjoy

I used to live up there, near Porthmadog, it's astonishing how quickly you get used to these things flying overhead. You could always pick out tourists and locals during a fly over. Locals would simply pause their conversation then continue once the noise died down. Tourists would either try to shout over it or would be craning their necks trying to spot the aircraft. As an air cadet i loved planes, and some of the aircraft we saw around there were incredible. Harriers performing VTOl maneuvers, chinooks and the massive Hercules were probably my favourites. I miss living there.

I want to go , but i am worried about going deaf. I have heard eurofighters go over my head at maybe 3 to 4 thousand feet, and a apache really low would i need any earplugs to sit on the loop or is it not that bad

Best sounds in the world! I do miss the USAF. I loved the lone F-15 @3:13. That's what flies out of the Air National Guard base here in Portland, so it's a favorite of mine.

That almost ghostly moan sound from the typhoon , wow. Imagined if you were wee "taliban terry" hearing that knowing it was coming for you . You'd be froze with fear. Though for me, the sound of sounds when it comes to watching RAF air shows etc is the tornado when they "open the taps" . Love it!

Great video! I will never forget being on the opposite side and hearing a shout of 'typhoon', and I could not spot it what-so-ever, I could hear it but I couldn't see it. The weather was beautiful, very sunny. At the last second I spotted a 'phoon shaped shadow go across the road below and it was headed for us straight on, pulled up overhead on full after burner (reheat?)... it was amazing

Very cool video!! I haven't heard many of those planes first hand yet, but is the Typhoon really that "quiet"... sounded like it "crept" up on us/yall in relationship to the previous passes with different planes... @AirshowWorld9 жыл бұрын
+Speedz1991 Hi The Loop is open Mon to Friday but you never get any advanced warning of flying, you can find on the MOD website a timetable but it's a work of fiction. The above video took over 44 hrs of waiting to get. You have to be very patient. I have been there and seen nothing for two days in perfect weather but other days I have had over 20 passes but that is becoming very rare these days. Best advice is just go with the attitude that if you see something it's a bonus but when you do see something like an F-15 flying close below you, well nothing compares.
@BlackBirdBlitz6 жыл бұрын
I live near an AFB. Langley AFB Hampton VA. When they flew F-15s, the F-15s would shake my house. Now the USAF flies F-22s and the F-22s seam like they're actually in my house. It's always loud. Sometimes it's spooky and occasionally its down right scary. I'm very use to the sound of jet noise. I wonder how the people living in the loop feel.
