A quick fossil hunting trip back at Port Mulgrave on the North Yorkshire coast . Here I recover a large Dactylioceras that I break out of a nodule on the beach

That chunky fossil you prepped is so beautiful and it was cool seeing the process from start to finish. Be careful climbing up those steep hillsides!

Wow cool video, like the prep in the middle 💪 Those dacks pop like a dream 🤩 I so need to get to the Yorkshire coast, we did some of the Dorset coast this weekend. Found loads a small stuff ammos but nothing worth getting my hammer out for 😬

If you go to the Yorkshire coast you should be able to find a few Dacs , not as much as in winter but if you look hard enough there's some to be had . Did you find some of those little pyritised ammonites down on the Dorset coast

@@Treasurehunter11001 I’m hoping to do Yorkshire coast with the kids this summer, but I would love to get up there on my own or with the Mrs and have a proper hunt 💪 We found loads of pyrite ammos in Waymouth a few at charmouth, 2 at Lyme and 2 at Golden Cap, plus a few noduals to prep 💪 My boys did better than me, but I was pointing them in the right direction and walking behind them so that they got the most 😜🥰

Hi Simon how is it going? Did you get to America and are you now married. Fossils are a bit slow around here at the moment. A lot of sand coming down from the sand scraping. Hope you are keeping well and have a great Christmas. Regards Tony.
