You’re probably my favorite musician to ever exist to be honest. Your altissimo is incredible and your hair is gorgeous

Sheeeesh! Goose bumps everywhere! Those harmonics ❤ and clean altissimo! Can you tell the name of the pianist? Many people asked for it in the last video.

Friend!! I greatly appreciate your support and hope all is well with you. His name is James Reginald Jackson. Here is a link to his Facebook: m.facebook.com/1650134125/ This is the best I can offer - he currently has no released music, however, if you do some digging you’ll find that he has amazing books on piano playing! I’m pretty sure he would teach you private lessons via zoom if you reached out! Hope this helps!

Hey friend! God is so good! Thank you for this encouragement(: For sound, a lot of people will tell you to do long tones (which is definitely far from the worst way to work on sound). I personally think that it’s good to warm up on a ballad - I like this because it’s a good way to play things slower than I normally do (which allows me to focus more on how I sound than playing the changes). The other benefit to warming up on a ballad is that you can practice expression and sound simultaneously. Sound alone will not enable you to play a melody beautifully, however, playing with a beautiful sound expressively will. To sum this all up, I like to intermingle sound AND expression into one portion of my practice by playing a ballad. You can also do the same thing with the blues. I hope this helps!
