I've been using green seasoning for years. I just make it by adding each ingredient separately into my dish. Then mix them up. YES it does what you are making to a different level.

OH TRY THAI BASIL it is SO MUCH better than regular basil. I also put it in my PO Vietnamese soup raw with bean sprouts and raw jalapeno pepper.

It's like sofrito, but more elevated. Sofrito don't have all these herbs and ginger. This is green seasoning or epis in the caribbean.

I love this, I make green seasoning but I didn't put all this goodness inside. I'm learning so much from you. @@candythaglamcook ok so with the curry goat and curry chicken 1)what flame do you use to burn your curry 2) how do you know when the curry is finished cooking?

@stantan9960 I usually cook that on medium heat constantly stirring to prevent burning. Once the curry gets dark brown in color and starts to seperate from the oil, it's ready.. usually takes 3 to 4 mins.

I'm from Jamaica. We use the individual herb & spices when seasoning. So there's none left over. Can you use this green seasoning as a spread when making a sandwich. I don't know how it would taste as you said it's for cooking?

Hi no it can't be used as a spread for a sandwich unless you're combining it with something else like tuna or corned beef.

You can add vinegar and keep it outside for about a week I wouldn't recommend it tho refrigeration is always best.

Honestly you can't go wrong with this recipe. Just add as much or as little as you like. I don't know if you're planning to make alittle or alot but you can start by adding 1 cup of each. 1 tsp salt and see how it turns out..

This recipe doesn't require measurements. You just add as much or as little of the herbs and aromatics as you like, you can't go wrong with those. 1 to 2 tsp salt is all you need especially if you will be adding other dry seasonings for taste when marinating your meats.

I still have some in the fridge. It last up to 6 months the color might change from light green to dark green but that's because it has no preservative, It's all natural. The seasoning is still perfectly good .

Yes mine stay for a long time. It might change color from bright green to dark green and that's normal because it doesn't have any preservative. But it's still good to use.
