Hi, George your custard apple is growing amazingly. I have recently bought a small pot of the custard apple tree, it has flower already. Could you be kind enough to share how it should be water, fertiliser in the wi the please its still in its small pot. I'm scared to put it in the ground in the winter. Any advice would be awesome. Wonderful! Count yourself lucky to have found my channel. Pure ignorance is why millions of other gardeners haven't seen the light regarding growing tropicals in a cooler climate. Now that it's cold, protect the young custard apple until late October, when you will put it in the ground. Plant directly into your soil, without any additional amendments, surround the tree circle with thick mulch and a dressing of organic compost, and water daily for a week, then weekly until summer. In summer water according to how dry and how hot it gets.
