i started using the chebe grease last month and was following the every 3-5 day instructions. however i stopped because i thought it was counterproductive to frequently manipulate my hair. I was shedding with each take down of the braids when I went to reapply the chebe grease. Now I just use chebe grease like I do regular grease or butter. I use it once on wash day to style my hair and then I reapply again the next wash day.
@qiv7772 ай бұрын
So how is it going?
@kimwilliams3882 ай бұрын
@imParisthoee remember to be gentle with your natural hair when taking it down to reapply and adding your moisture routines.
@claudiathomas31932 ай бұрын
Or you could apply the grease a top the braids itself ....instead of pulling out the braids to apply. Or atleast that's what I do...for the same reason ....didn't want to over manipulate my hair. So I don't unravel the braid...I just spritz (the braids) with the liquid/ leave in conditioner...then apply the grease atop the braids....no take down....no shedding....and I do that until wash day

I personally think the chebe IS darkening the hair. What you keep in mind is that its a product straight from nature. On the channel "Green Beauty" there is a woman that used onion water monthly and not only got growth but her hair went a beautiful hue of dark. I'm trying the same regimen myself with onion.

One of your reels came across my IG timeline. You had me at 3 inch hair growth/retention. I ordered Sahel powder (Dara was out), and Chebe grease from Dara via your link. After two applications of Chebe powder I am seeing amazing results. Literally no shedding. The application process is messy and a little time consuming, but so worth it. I get as close to my scalp as possible without touching my scalp. Love your videos. Simple and to the point, and extremely thorough. For all the super fine hair strand girls… I have had no issues using Chebe powder. FYI Dara is currently having a huge sale on their products. Both items will be permanent fixtures in my hair growth journey.
@mmc738928 күн бұрын
@@nickiawalker645 Hi, When I apply the grease I do not take my braids down. I apply it to my scalp, up and down the hair shaft and around my edges. Dara suggests testing a small area to see if you are sensitive to the ingredients before applying the grease directly to your scalp. I have not had any issues applying the grease to my scalp. Do not apply the powder to your scalp.

As far as chebe changing the hair color: I will say *my hair is box dyed honey blonde* and years ago when I used chebe on my hair it *made the honey blonde very vibrant & shiny looking* .. Like the *color came to life* so I’d say *chebe naturally enhances your hair color* … not darken it. If that makes sense haha and that was from a one time use of it. I guess I noticed it immediately since my hair is dyed. With darker hair it may take longer to notice if it’s not something you’re looking for. I love your videos btw. Inspiring me to start back with it esp since I neglected my hair during postpartum. 1st time mommy. You live and learn and hair grows back ♥️

Hello, since this weighs your hair down and helps with frizz would you say it can help in humid weather? Also, which one elongates your curls the most between Henna and chebe?
@KlassicallyKept7 күн бұрын
Hello. Yes chebe can weigh the hair down and give the appearance of elongated curls. When I wash my hair my curls curl right back up lol. Humidity is humidity. Even the women in chad's hair eventually gets frizzy. Frizzy hair is a part of being natural, there is no product that is going to alleviate all of your frizz, but there are products that can help combat. ( This does include extreme frizz, with that there may be some damage and/or lifted hair cuticles.) For me henna did not elongate my curls.
