The most important part of any home cinema entertainment space is that you can enjoy it, the desire to create the space is a driving force, even on a shoestring budget you can have a great event room, tip for anyone in a smaller room, think about what is on the walls, with smaller speakers you will get sharp reflections and any hard or reflective surface creates rebounds. This effects clarity and definition. If you can use printed fabric (very cost effective these days) rather than glass frames the improvement is a more spacious feel, think of ways to diffuse or absorb rather than reflect. Remember the room represents 60% of the sound, get the room right and any speaker system big or small will just sound better. Movie night with the kids are some of my fondest memories, congrats on keeping the home theatre dream alive.

I love this setup. It reminds me so much of my own experience this last year getting involved with home theater. it's so satisfying to know you've built a space for you and your family and friends to enjoy and I find all the creativity to make a space work to be what really makes it your own.

I like seeing the different tours, rooms, and budgets that you tour on your channel. Your RGB on the "Tony" shots is always on point. Nice blend across the back wall. I prefer brand new for longevity and warranty. Though I did get a b stock from a manufacturer very minor unnoticeable blemishes on wall speaker for a bargain price. The speaker had been checked thoroughly by the manufacturer so it's as good as new. I needed 2 more of the same speaker to complete my epic 5.1 cinema system. Luckily enough I found 2 more this time brand new at a crazy almost half price. One from Amazon USA directly and the final one from a seller on eBay who's dad used to run a AV store but had closed due to covid-19. £279 including postage, customs for the b stock, and amazingly only £259 new from Amazon USA including postage and customs. And £236 new including postage and customs from the eBay seller. The speakers originally were $1000 each when they came out in 2016. And currently are $480 new in USA and £440 new in the UK from their Denmark warehouse.

It depends... the chairs are close due to the small space, and having the speakers down lower would mean they would be too close to the listeners head. Sometimes you have to compromise on idea positioning.
