I remember this game so fondly, it wasn't great but it's the only one I convinced my parents to let me rent twice. It's janky, but it was my first game with a character creator that did more than swapped outfits and I was obsessed. The game's no masterpiece, but they don't all have to be to hold a place in your heart ....also, only tangentially related, but thanks for all the trans rights references in your videos. It's nice to confirm some people care. People in my state just burned down the only place within 160 miles of me that dealt with it (they hadn't been driven off by the drive by shootings and daily protests guess they were desperate.) and launched over a dozen laws during COVID trying to ban everything from the sale of my medication to the use of ANY public restroom, male female or unisex. nothing like a year of being detransitioned, can't get my meds thanks to zealots -_-

Man all I remember about this game is that one lets play years ago where the people playing just ran with the fact that the evil faction is literally called the black evil. Like they named their monster the white good and everything it was funny until they hit the brick wall that is the water skipping. Turbo controllers are a blessing but I guess they became less popular as stuff like that became less prevalent.

No way! I thought I was the only person who knew about this game lmao. This felt like a game that took the mini games from Mario party and put it in a tournament-like structure, with a few variations. Plus a weird custom monster creator. Gonna be honest, I enjoyed the game for quite a bit, but after I stopped I never felt the need to come back to finish it.

I rented this once at a blockbuster! I made a Rayman lookalike and ironically he was one of my weaker creatures. If you want a better monster making and raising game though, I'd recommend magic pengel for the PS2. Much more fun and charming.

I remember renting this game as a kid as well without knowing it'd be a mini-game collection as well. I think I gave up when I tried the water-skipping mini-game and couldn't figure out what to do. I blamed it on my lack of an attention span and reading comprehension back then, but even if that wasn't the case, I doubt I would've done much better in that stupid mini-game.
