The Lolli Attack certainly does seem superior to the Fried Liver Attack. The opponent is much less likely to be familiar with it.

I'm a fan of this one for sure. I've been a bit leery of the regular Fried Liver (perhaps unnecessarily) ever since reading Reinfeld as a kid; he figured that Black should be able to hold onto the extra piece and win. (That said, I'd never play the Black side of that variation; as Black I usually play 3. Bc5 and avoid the Two Knights entirely). But the Lolli is another story. Thanks for this video. Now we just need to know what to do if we're trying to play for the Lolli (or the regular Fried Liver, for that matter) and Black plays the Traxler instead...

Thanks for your question. I answered that indirectly at 14:29. The position may transpose. Nevertheless, the simplest is just to castle short. f5 is not possible in most lines due to Qh5+.
