Yes they should. He went to great lengths to get us to “feel” for the fetus. What about when the baby would be born? It may live a few days to hours, imagine the pain it would experience while it died. And if the mother died of complications, the pain she would go through. The pain her husband and 4 year old that are left without a mother. What about the “economics” of the father having to bring up a child by himself. Then I imagine Kennedy going into another hearing about gun control and being hypocritical about the right of guns over people.

After 3years of study and one year of articles I joined the Department of Justice in Canada as a prosecutor. Then on to policy planning and drafting legislation. Then took on the areas of money laundering and proceeds of crime. During all of those positions the workplace was about 70% male. I had struggles but didn't take seriously the stage that was slung my way. I took the high road and by the time I retired, the problems were gone. That was 40 some years ago. I've heard that there is not nearly the atmosphere now that I worked in. Women have achieved great things but when there are still men like Kennedy out there, more work is needed. Is he a subset of a certain kind of people who thinks his way and cares not a wit about consideration and civility? I hope that new generations will be able to think for themselves rather than being indoctrinated into their parents thinking. Thanks again for your enlightened support.

My wife had an abortion at 24 weeks of/for a child that died in the womb. She went through a normal (induced) birth procedure. I was in the room with her and we both went through the same pain as we did for our previous three pregnancies. I live in the UK. There were no forceps or any mechanical appliance used. I really wish they would push back more when people say things like “abortion up until the moment of birth”. Abortions on healthy pregnancies AFTER viability simply do not happen unless there is a medical reason to do so. You can’t just walk into a clinic and demand an abortion at 8 months , I mean in theory you could technically , but you wouldn’t be able to actually receive one. Once a pregnancy hits viability outside of the womb, it’s a different scenario. Ever heard of the NICU? What do you think those are for? They’re for premature babies that hit viability outside of the womb but still need support. Doctors do everything in their power to keep a premie alive . The only abortions happening in the late second trimester or third trimester are always devastating and only done in cases of medical emergencies, point blank.
