I backpacked all over the world and overlanded Africa and India years ago when I was young and single. If I was travelling today the way you two are, I’d marry my wife over and over again and again at each and every beautiful location. Congrats and all the best.

What a way to tie the knot! Congrats to you both for choosing to commit to each other and it’s meaningful after what you guys have gone through together while on the road, or track, I should say. It’s made even more meaningful and memorable by selecting a beautiful and serene backdrop. Cheers ! 🍸🍷🥂👏

I have never seen anyone as nonchalant at you two about getting hitched!!! This is such awesome news. May your marriage be looooong, happy and blessed beyond your wildest imagination. You can NOT just leave us hanging with one tiny pic, so we will need more wedding video’s to follow please? (You both looked gorgeous BTW!!!)

Did a Rd trip with my wife all along the northern borders of Georgia about 8 years ago. It's amazing. Make sure you go to abkhazia. That whole top left area is amazing. Vineyards to the east are worthy also. Tbilisi is my favourite city in Europe. Peace from Newcastle, Australia

Congrats and good to see you guys on the road again, was wondering if you guys would continue or not! Wondering if you could explain how the border crossing works with a car? I know you mentioned the Carne de passage years ago, but how does it work if you can't use it? Greetings from Adelaide.
@TheWayOverland2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Not all countries operate through the CDP agreement. Those that don’t usually have temporary import permits which allow access for a predetermined time - usually max 12 months. Majority of these TIPs are simply completed on arrival at the border and involve providing the registration, passport, license etc. The CDP process is a little simpler as the customs agents simply fill out a section of a page on arrival then another on departure. We had only 2 problems with this process, leaving Thailand the first time they said we had lost a form (they had never given us) we simply drove to another crossing where they were more understanding, and now Georgia.
