Amazing Otis Series 2 Traction Elevator at Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas, NV.

Filmed on June 8, 2018: Since today is the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower's 19th birthday, I figured why I upload this HD take of this wonderful elevator at this attraction!!!! :D As you watch otiselevator9439's video when he came here not too long ago, I had met the same elevator attendant member as you'll hear during the middle of this video and during the ride down on the elevator. After I stopped my camera just way before the ride down, he literally told me that he knew someone who does the same thing I do. So I then told him who it was and all. Small world! :D Anyways, I hope you enjoy this video. Next year from today, this Eiffel Tower will be OFFICIALLY 20 YEAR OLD!!!!! :D Installed in 1999.

Great video! Judging by the look and sound that may not just be a fan. They do make full air conditioners for elevators. The six glass cars at The Galleria had them. The ACs are still in place but are not turned on anymore. As a kid if I got hot I used to just go stand on those elevators.

Someone in the cab had asked about the speed of the elevator. I'm not surprised the operator didn't know because, unlike normal indoor elevators, it's not a constant value but varies depending on outside wind velocity. Since most of the hoistway span is open and exposed to the elements, high wind speeds can cause the hoist cables to shake excessively which would result in a less smooth, more turbulent 'ride.' I understand that some winds that whip around and between nearby hotel towers can be especially strong. The solution is to measure the wind in real-time and inversely slow down the elevator's speed according to the measured wind. A special monitoring device for this purpose is located above the hoistway near the top of the tower.

I went on these when I ate at the restaurant at the mezzanine level. I didn't go all the way up though. After having a few drinks I was making silly faces at people through the circular window and made them laugh lol.

its a very small elevator it would only carry about 9 passengers. also jim you were at C at the start of the video and then at the end you were at B im kinda confused is C the same thing as B

The casino floor was where are you get in line to have your tickets ready for scanning, but we were designated to get off at the bridge level because that is where guests exit, and the casino is where guests enter.

Yes, but the one in Paris, France, is the original Eiffel Tower that was built.
