All the usual I've come to expect from Pakistani work videos. Absolutely abysmal working conditions, zero safety equipment, zero quality control. Doesn't leak, OK. Will it hold pressure? Don't know. Weld integrity? Unchecked. Powder coating with no mask, welding with a hand held shield, working with heavy items in open toed sandals, working around moving machinery in loose, flowing clothing, no hard hats, no hearing protection, blah, blah, blah. The most easily replaced things in that factory are the workers apparently. This is why we have labor unions and things like Health & Safety/OSHA. I'd bet they lose minimum of 10-15% of the workforce per year to accident, injury and things like respiratory illness and being blinded or deafened.

The whole place is a nightmare, right at the start the sunlight shining through shows all the welding fume (a carcinogen) in the air. The noise would be terrible, not to mention the dumping of compressed air during the pressure/leak test, that poor old bloke that sits there and does that every day would be stone cold deaf. I am lucky enough to live in Australia where I make a good living protecting workers from this sort of exploitation. It is so sad to see these practices and so many people in developing nations hurting themselves like the western world did during their Industrial Revolution.

Pre-WW I tech for the most part. That one, single wire welder used was pre- WW II vintage, but the "shielding" stuff they used looked like used Kitty Litter. I guess the thing that always amazes me, and amazes me most, is that in an "Open Defecation Culture/Society" such as theirs (read: They Actually SHIT IN THE STREETS, and do NOT have "Western Bathrooms" with toilets in them), that they dare wear slippers, sandals or soft "street shoes" - and even go barefoot - as I have seen in other videos . I totally freak out if someone doesn't pick up after or at least curb their dog and I happen to RUIN a pair of shoes by stepping in a stinking steamy dog-pile, but I guess if you step in Human Feces on their streets, all the red and green curry they consume gives it a pleasant, soft, squishy and "spicy" quality that likely makes it seem healthy and fun, maybe even a substitute for washing one's feet. Eh? I wonder how many of their population are killed every year by those truly horrible, terribly made high-pressure gas cylinders.

Well, in fairness, most bottled gas suppliers will test even new cylinders to at least 20 bar before use and retest at intervals. It's also pretty obvious when one of these cylinders has a leak during filling as they won't hold stable pressure. But still, there is a definite concern over a slow weld failure going undetected for a good few refill cycles.

What kind of welding is that with the powder looking stuff? Never seen this type before.
Similar to stick welding with solid flux except instead of a rod coated in flux, it is poured on as a powder. Any that isn't consumed is recovered. Benefits are continuous filler wire (same as MIG), no shield gas, flux will cope with poor (no) surface preparation, no shortage of flux. Down side is that it can only really be done with the weld point horizontal.
