Pumpkin is a favorite in our house, we grow 50 or more a year. They store well outside under cover and improve in flavor as they age up to nine months.

Thank you for tips on how to eat the pumpkins! New illuminating ways.... I wondered how to eat in a raw vegan style, now I know. I've been harvesting quite a bit in my garden over summer, eggplants, heaps of passionfruit, yellow and purple, cherry tomatoes, chilis, rocket, lemon cucumber, rockmelon, pineapples, bananas and parsley- its been a productive Summer.! Do you have any mango trees? I've got one but it hasn't been fruiting, not sure why but it is big, I gave it a trim a few months back so I hope it has fruits next year. I love how diverse and abundant your garden is xx

hey Karen ! Your garden must be wonderful with all these things growing! Where is it ? Seams like similar climate, of what we grow. I have planted mango trees , but they are only one year old and they take long to fruit! Good luck with yours💫

Whenever you show food prep, it’s so illuminating. The dehydrator is such a great tool, I live in a very humid Mediterranean climate and even drying the herbs that grow abundantly here is tricky, they often loose color and vibrancy, I guess fast and thorough drying in a dehydrator would be the answer. Thank you as always Sarah 🙏👌💚

Hey Monica ! Thanks fo much . Yes , a dehydrator is really a great way to preserve foods form the garden. I experienced the same thing here it is soo humid all year round that it is not easy to get thing dry without a dehydrator ! I used to dry thing in the sun. but the nights make it soggy again,

Sarah, those are winter squash I believe or calabash they are very creamy as long as they stay a little longer in the vine. But whichever you want to prepare them it is still good. Those are so big I can not grow them here in the U.S (north) Lots of squash variety here also. Sarah yes the flowers as well as the young shots are edible also for soups, and the flowers to coat with batter then fry yummy. I love your recipes from your plants. Thank you for sharing your video can’t wait for the next one.❤

I think she's picking them green...if she had waited and let them mature, the flesh would be orange, and have much, much more flavor. I wonder if picking them green also robs her of nutrients, too.

I recently adquired a dehydrator and I'll like to make these delicious-looking spring roll sheets but I don't know what the other ingredients (apart from pumpkin) are. The second one is zuchini or cucumber? And that powder of the third ingredient, What is it? Finally, I'd like to know how much time is required to make these delicious spring rolls and if it is necessary to flip this so thin sheet over. Greetings.

@sayantanbiswas1915
@sayantanbiswas1915 Жыл бұрын
When those pumpkin are completely ripe , the peel colour become red, yellow, brown colour mixed. Also the stem of every pumpkin became dry. Then before eat those pumpkin you need to remove the peel because it will so hard that human can not digest also unable to boli. Those pumpkin is more sweet, more red colour inside. Then collect those pumpkin seed, and dry properly in sun shine, use seed for plantation in future.

The violet colour flower you use in salad, I don't know is there any nutrition value in it. Because as per Hindu Religion in India those Flowers use to worship prayer to God SHIVA, we never eat those. Beware of use any plant in India, because some are toxic harmful. Please learn which plant use in which way . Even as an Indian I don't know everything about plant. Also India area wise plant are different and use for different purpose.
