This is one of the best "We are still relevant" albums of all time, to me atleast. Just compare it to their previous album, it has a very distinct 80's sound, this one sounds like it could have been made today.

@@LionMetalMusic-videochannel I don't mean to be rude but I honestly can't understand how any album from Maiden comes anywhere near close to Painkiller. Vocals, leads, power and pure heavy metal is so beyond insane nothing from nearly any pure heavy metal band comes close to the Painkiller album.

I am so glad to hear you review this song. It seems like everyone out there is reacting to the song Painkiller (which is great), but they’re missing all of the amazing tracks on the rest of the album. To me, the album Painkiller represents the pinnacle of classic heavy metal. It’s fast, heavy, complex, with thundering drums and piercing vocals. This album is the complete package. Total Masterpiece from start to finish. It’s funny. I could recommend other Priest songs, but why? There’s not much left after Metal Meltdown. One of my all time favorites. There is an amazing song off one of their more recent albums ‘Angel of Retribution’ (2005), song is called “Hell Rider”. It’s very reminiscent of some of the Painkiller tracks. Other than that, I just don’t think you can improve upon the album Painkiller.

Please keep exploring Judas Priest after this album. The great thing about Priest is their career spans the entire history of the Metal genre, and evolved along with it. You can listen to the Judas Priest discography and get a pretty accurate history lesson on how Metal evolved. They're considered the number 2 after Sabbath for a reason.

Yo ive been binging your reactions lately man! Greatest metal reaction channel on youtube. Your in depth breakdown of a song, the way you don't pause, and your beer recommendations always make me laugh. Anyway, a song you really should check out is Alison Hell by Annihilator. This band is basically a Canadian thrash hybrid of Iron Maiden and old school Metallica with a bit more technicality. The song is based on a true story about a girl who has been seeing the boogeyman and no one believed her, not even her parents. The song narrates her increasing insanity in the most badass and creepy ways. I'm telling you man you'll love it and old school Annihilator
