What's fun is when you're playing as a massive empire trying to take over the galaxy and the three other largest empires all form a federation against you. The battles that take place are amazing.. and devastating for both sides

That happened to me. I managed to hold them back for years. Then I managed to actually start making some gains and could make more ships than I had to replace and eventually won. It was a pretty costly war though.

This is honestly the most beautiful stellaris battle I have ever seen! It's like it was meant as a New Years Light Show! The battle wasn't too big to get lost in what was happening, wasn't too small to be over in mere moments, and was the most colourful battle ever! Well Done!

Once the ai is at a point with character development to where your admirals/advisors etc talk to you and they feel important to you it won't be so easy sending them out on one ways!

Really loved the mod. in vanilla the battle would have been the corvettes and attack crafts circling around a ship and the other ships shotting lasers(even tho you haven't added said laser) but with the mod you see the ships using all the weapons you gave them, you see attack crafts roaming around and attacking various targets instead of just one ship. Adding this mod to my everyday playthroughs was the best thing I ever did. Props to you bro. You really spice up my RP games with buddies and made us slow the speed of the games just to watch the battles. 11/10 must have

This is the reason i use Aesthetic Cinematic Gameplay. Some really good Extensions. Fleetcomp is really important ,you need different Loadouts to counter your opponent, the AI is way better and it looks much much more immersive. Stellaris without Mods meanwhile is just a Planetsimulator.

I have a gtx1080 but stellaris can be run on max settings on a lower end gpu too.

I purchased Stellaris way back then in 2022, and ASB is one of my staple mods that made the game much more enjoyable. Stellaris is basically unplayable without this.

Flat out Amazing Visuals, and a great choice for the music, TY for sharing. Just starting out in Stellaris myself, but I absolutely love this, hope to get half that fleet someday. How did you get so far down in the weeds with this battle, all my Battles are just specs on the Horizon. Any links or Tuts, would be appreciated. Quite Awesome.

Hi there, thanks :) I use the better camera mod, wich lets you zoom in more. You can also use a controller and type Gamepad in console to get really cinemic views.

Wait, so there are times in the game when you can enjoy a space battle without worrying about your research, borders and so on? Also, imagine if your fleet lost and you were so engrossed in the battle, you forgot to send a backup fleet just in case.

I wish I could have battles like this in my saves Any time a war starts it very quickly shuts down for no reason and any fleets actively moving to a battlefield immediately stop it’s pretty weird but in case a war lasts more than a second it’ll be nice for the battle to be a guaranteed victory because of how strong my force is after being completely untouched for decades edit: after thinking about it for a second, I realized that I’ll never have battles this beautiful because my gtx 960 would commit die long before the battle starts edit 2: THIS IS A MOD???

What I don' get is the lack of strategy in the space battles. Like in Medieval 2 total war, I can flank the enemy with my horses then repeatedly ram them to lower their moral. Here it's just: ' shooty shooty head on big space ship'

I gotta manual move 18 rocks to grid 817, then left click the population there 3 times, drag some perfume over to please the women to increase their dating habits which increases happiness, then drag 8 steaks to the male pop, making them happy, and OH LOOK A +3 mating bonus in reproduction from that... annnd.....

I don't want to be 'that guy' but unless Stellaris has any 'combat visuals' DLC (I only have the core game but DLCs seem to be focused the on important things like features and stories, not 3D visuals), Stellaris is really poor source for space battle visuals when you have Homeworld 1/2 and mod communities for those... The game is inferior but the combat visuals-and-atmosphere is without competition so far...
