great reaction, more Sabaton please. Sabaton is a Swedish band with a loooong list of history based music. Sabaton also has an award winning history channel that gives background to over 120 if their songs (not music award, academic, aimed at education of the public) . Sabaton videos are often have dedications and/or messages at the end, perhaps not always but... watching to the very end is frequently well worth it. Animated STORY videos (short Animated history lessons with music videos in them) you just saw No bullets fly, enemy showing mercy to injured aircrew in a nearly wrecked aircraft barely still flying, even escorting them to safety. Night witches, Young (17-28) female bomber pilots in ww2 fighting the Nazi despite the discrimination they faced and being given obsolete equipment, aircraft ... Lady of the dark, female fighting alongside men during ww1 and being highly respected and even more decorated. Red baron, the famous fighter pilot of ww1 first soldier, unlikely French hero in ww1. Epic ORIGINAL videos. Bismark, about the sinking of the ship Christmas truce, about the spontaneous truce in some parts of the western front during Christmas 1914 40:1, about polish soldiers, badly outnumbered (just under 750 in all) facing 42 000 germans, they where BADLY outgunned desperately defending against the German invasion 1939 (with odds actually close to 55:1 they held for 3 DAYS when ammunition and supplies ran out. Uprising, the Warsaw Uprising against the nazi germans during 1944. To hell and back, they tell the story of Audie Murphy (highly decorated) and his struggle AFTER the war, so about PTSD and drug addiction that returning soldiers can face. Fields of verdun, the 300+ day long battle fought there. Price of a mile, about the battle of Passchendaele Screaming Eagles, about the battle of the bulge Live performances 40:1 from poland Uprising from poland En livstid I krig live from Göteborg Sweden (in Swedish but there are subtitles) , very heavy again, about thoughts of a young man going to war. Two covers that are good Defence of Moscow, self explained 1916 about the devastating battle of the somme in ww1, casualties topped 1 milion if you count both sides, all for 6 miles of ground, these are just some, there are plenty more.

Great reaction video! As a fan of Sabaton since their early days I always appreciate watching and listening to how others may perceive them. They have so many great songs, Christmas Truce, The Red Baron are to name a few that were particularly great to listen to. I hit that sub button and smashed the like! Will now check out your other content!

I’m 50yo, and I appreciate the fact you respect history. I’ve studied WWII since my grandpa and two great-uncles told me about their experiences. They didn’t sugarcoat it, but they never acted like they were heroes. They just…did it.

57yo .opposite here. My grand dads only spoke very little about ww2. Mostly " It was not a good time in my life" one was in europe the other in asia.

That was certainly different, interesting, uniquely well done. The visuals are exceptional. The music was very good rock with excellent vocals, and the story/lyrics.... What you said is fine.

This video just proves the point. Its the everyday joe that fights the wars, with some respect for the enemy. Its the Elites who wage the wars and make us poor bastards fight. Sabaton is great. Every song is a history lesson!!!!

I always support our troops,son is a marine,now a fireman.Look at Christmas Truce.If it is the one I think it is.2 enemy's came together with an old lady,gave both sides dinner.For 1 moment there was peace,between enemys.I have known that story a long long time ago.
@mudshark53936 күн бұрын
Well, it's not that story, in Christmas Truce the two sides meet up in no mans land to celebrate, sing carols, play soccer, exchange gifts and bury fallen soldiers. The official music video is the one to watch, there is an animated version but save that for later.

@mudshark5393 oh ok thank you.There is a story about a truce about American and German soldiers,that shared a Christmas dinner though with an old woman.So in it's own way it is a small truce.

Back on January 21st 2023 I suggested you put all your artist in a Playlist in Chronological order of when you discovered them. three days later they were all done... since then that list has grown quite large with an exceptional comprehensive list of legendary names..... Cool

Well, that was certainly different. Thank you.

If you want an awesome live song with Sabaton you should react to en livstid i krig live Scandinavium Gothenburg 2020. The album Carolus rex they had released during that time is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) from when Sweden was a much bigger nation with ambitions of expanding. The album was released with both an Swedish and English version,the difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldiers view and the English is more from an outsiders view of the war. It is the Swedish version they played at that show so be sure the subtitles are on,I was at that show and all I can say is that you will not regret it.
