Interesting. Could I mix marble dust with Matt medium and apply to canvas for texture? Would it crack? Have you tried this?
@AbstractRealART9 ай бұрын
A binder must be added to the marble powder, otherwise it will not hold. To ensure that it cracks, it must be dried with heat after application, the best way to do this is in the sun

Hello, i know this is an old tutorial but its exactly what ive been looking for, thank you. I want to work with dry pigments so can i ask you...what do you seal the final piece with so that the pigments dont rub off but still keep that powder look 😊

@@carriemitchell3020 hello…Spray with a firniss spray...but not too close, 30 cm away from the picture and do this 2-3 times, allow to dry in between ☺️

@AbstractRealART3 жыл бұрын

Hello from New Zealand! This is wonderful! I love it. I wish I spoke your language so that I could meaningfully congratulate you .. may I ask what is the brown powder that you blow onto the texture?

Thank you very much. I'm delighted. This is a pigment and is called "Kasslerbraun" It is a very fine pigment, therefore it can be blown well
