Hi Aurikstariina, my mom in Japan broke her leg and hospitalized. I live in US, so I couldn’t visit her since Covid. But when I went to her house, I found dirty house piles of clothes and moldy dishes and pots in the kitchen. My sister and I were shocked and devastated, but I watched one of your video again right there, and got empowered. It’s been 4 days of cleaning and throwing away soiled stuff. When I see some disgusting stuff, I picture you smiling and excited, and I can get on it. Thank you so much for making cleaning such a positive thing.

My best advice ever, never stay more than 3 minutes after a person doesn't want to be with you,or you with them. There are single people of all ages sitting home praying for you to come share a life together. Take care of you ,get to know yourself ,maybe your enough yourself! I spent 3 years looking for a mate to come into my life after a very difficult divorce. I finally decided my kids were enough and didn't need a mate. I was so happy about my decision. But God had something else in mind, I was married less than a month later! They watched me from close up and faraway for 3 years, thought there was no way they would get involved with a divorced parent. But once I'd stopped chasing love and was just happy to be me , they stepped in and offered everything! We have been married 34 years ! We just fit. Not perfect but very blessed.If it's meant to be it will be. Take care of you!

While I personally love children, it's a massive responsibility, which isn't discussed enough.

@@VioletJoy very well articulated. I think relationships are great but they take maturity and patience and one has to have worked through their childhood issues and traumas and pass hurts from other relationships before attracting a healthy partner and being a healthy partner. For now my house is not in bad shape. It's a bit cluttered and dusty but I manage. I really understand the mental state that leads to your home getting the condition many of your videos show though. You know it's bad. You don't want it to be that way. You want it clean and you want to be able to do it yourself. In fact, you manage to find the motivation every now and then. So you go get the things you need or you hype yourself up on the way home from work... then you get in there and try to start... it's almost instantly overwhelming. Which quickly gets you very very angry and depressed about the situation all over again. Sometimes though you are able to make a little progress but you hit some sort of roadblock at some point and can't figure out how to get yourself around it. It's a vicious cycle. Hi Auri, this is my first comment to you. First, I wanna say that I always watch your videos and they give me (and many others) so much hope. I also suffer from depression and anxiety and seeing you happily clean up even the most hopeless looking messes gives me strength to get up and clean--because like you say, there's no such thing as a mess that can't be cleaned up. Hearing you say that in your videos was so powerful for me, thank you so much. Second, I wanted to tell you I'm proud of you for making the hard decision to split up with Sami. I think a lot of people feel pressure to get married just because society says it's what we're "supposed to do," but I think choosing to stay single and be free is also a wonderful thing. I also broke up with my ex-girlfriend three years ago because I realized being alone and having my own life and freedom makes me happier and I wouldn't trade that for anything or anyone. Even if you love someone so much, you won't be happy if you have to give up what *you* want to give someone else what *they* want. I think you are amazing! Wishing you happiness. PS I live in Japan and they don't sell Scrub Daddy or Power Paste, but I had my friend help me get my hands on some. It's great! :)

I think it was really smart to recognize you guys aren't compatible before getting married and having kids. Hope he's doing OK and finds someone whose life goals are in line with his. Actually this makes me feel good about my own choices too! Sometimes I feel self conscious because I'm getting older and not really trying to date, but I just have stuff to do! And yeah dating someone takes up a lot of time. But I feel like people don't ever acknowledge that it's ok to have other goals in life. I think I'll be happier going at my own pace and having freedom of movement.

From the Relationship i had and my Sisters Marriage: Doing things alone is actually very healthy. Klinging too much on your partner is not healthy at all. Having own things and hobbies and expieriences actually make you appreaciate the time together more. You are still a own person with own needs, even if in a relationship or a marriage. So after years of glued together, my sis took a trip to sweden with only her best friends. Her Husband disliked that a lot. But when she came back she was happy to be with him and their home again and had many stories to tell. And both said, afterwards, it was very refreshing for both of them. (And her husband now knows how much work a big house is) And for me - i broke up many times because it felt like a cage for me. Im very good off on my own, if i want a partner, i need someone who is not in need to see me every day and has their own things and stuff he wants to do. Afterall the rules for a relationship should be made by the partners, not the standard rules society sees as the right one.

I felt like crying when you told your breakup story. I imagined how much he suffered with your decision because I think he loved you... And you loved him since you accept his proposal... I don't know, it's just painful when 2 people love each other but still can't be together. But you did the right thing. You both deserve to be happy, and he deserves someone who's gonna be happy with his way and wants the same things. As for you, I hope you travel the whole world and live your dream. I hope you both find your own ways to be happy ❤️

It's a shame you guys broke up but I see it's the best decision for you guys ❤️ Sami looks like an amazing guy and he deserves someone who will share his life priorities. And you deserve to follow your heart and live your life on your terms for sure 😊 best of luck to both of you

I'm glad your break-up was safe and free from drama. I wish you both the best :) I'm glad it happened before you got married, it likely prevented a lot of pain for the both of you. Such a strong decision, I respect that a lot. Seeing these homes makes me feel less bad about my own place. I struggled with a lot of violence and neglect at home, moved out a few years ago at 15 and I'm still struggling to get through the day. Picked up a bunch of moldy bread that's collected around the house in bags for some reason and it reminded me of the people you help 😵💫😂 Fortunately I can manage to clean before it gets too bad

Don't let anyone make you feel bad about wanting to be free to do what you want. I tried to fit the mold of career, marriage, kids, house in my 20s like what I thought was what I was supposed to do. And as each thing crumbled away I decided I didn't want the conventional lifestyle. I traveled (alone), moved across country a couple of times, went back to school, and had a good life. You do you!

I ended an engagement that felt similar - we were generally happy, but in the end it felt like we didn't fit as a couple, like we were the wrong match. He didn't agree, but I didn't want to stay when I knew it felt wrong. It was a very strange decision to make, because we didn't really have any major problems.

I'm so glad that you felt comfortable enough to tell us about your break up. I always hate when influencers announce a break up but stay secretive about it and cause drama around it online. It's your business and no one else's but you made sure to minimize confusion and room for people to gossip. Anyway, thank you for all that you do!
@kck97422 жыл бұрын
I don't think we're entitled to know the personal details of KZbinrs and "influencers." If Auri had simply mentioned, "By the way, Sami and I broke up" just as an explanation of why he was no longer in her videos, and offered no further details, that would have been fine too.
@peachy_lili Жыл бұрын
@@kck9742 Good personal opinion, but OP wasn't implying we are entitled to anything. They just said they don't like it when influencers deliberately tell the audience but then keep it hush-hush to stir up buzz around the issue. And Auri said herself, she wanted to share because she herself is 'super curious' about those situations.

I have also recently split with my fiancé in a similar way. Even though it was my decision, it is so hard. It’s still quite raw and I spend a lot of time crying. The guilt is terrible, but I am trying to do the right thing. I look up to you, Auri, and your outlook on life. Thank you for being who you are.

So I've watched hours of your videos. I saw an oil leak on cement outside. I squirted a lot of dish detergent on it and placed a lot of plastic wrap over it. It worked like a greasy oven! I put hot water on and scrubbed with a long handled brush, followed with paper towels. It worked!! Thank you!❤

At first, it made me sad that you and Sami broke up, but then I realized you are right to fight for your soul path, to be the free spirit you want to be in your heart, and to set Sami free to find a girl who will thank her lucky stars to find a guy like him and want the same things in life. Hope you are both doing well.

I can’t believe the amount of ppl that are JUDGING her for being open and explained the reason why she broke up. She clearly explain that they both want completely opposite things in life and she feels better ALONE. He probably loved her and didn’t want to end the relationship but what they would have done in 2-3 years when he wants kids and she didn’t ? Better sooner than better. The amount of ppl that want completely different things in life but stay together anyway ! I salute her courage and I wish Samy and her the best !

Breakups are always hard and sad. But I think that you made a good decision for both of you. If you didn't feel good in a relationship right now it's better to separate and think of your happiness. You are a good influence on young girls and women out there who too often stay with their partners even if they are unhappy. You know what you want Auri and you're going after it! Congrats and may this new year bring you everything you wish for ❤

In my life I’ve had the job of cleaner several times and always felt like I deserved to be doing something better and that it was beneath me to clean someone’s mess. But I knew at the core of it that I was doing a very important and valuable job. This confirms that it’s perhaps one of the most important, and transformative experiences one person can offer another. It clears up so much on the energetic level, not just the physical 🙏

My daughter had a three years relationship with her boyfriend/fiancé from Europe. They tried to live together during the summer in his country and he showed his true face. He was demanding, controlling, jealous that never came up before, because the short length of the time to spend together, or because he was too excited to be in the US. She broke up and feels the same excitement like you. She moved to a new apartment that was helping a lot to start a new life. I am so proud of both of you to be strong and wise. I had a great carrier, great friends, and I never wanted to be married after coming from a very dysfunctional and toxic family. When I met with my husband at age 27, I knew immediately that he is the one. You just feel it. We moved together after our first date, we were married in six months. We are still together after 27 years. Your break up was a meant to be. You are so amazing and you have such a positive energy, I believe you also find someone who really accepts you and loves you for who you are, unconditionally ❤️

I always watch your videos when i need to clean my room. I suffer from mental Illness like a lot of the people you help. My bedroom gets pretty messy and disorganized often. Especially since im an artist so I have A LOT of stuff that i use on a semi-daily basis. But your videos always inspire me to put a load of laundry in or take out my trash or organize some of my stuff or fold my clothes. Sometimes its not much but other times i clean and organize my whole room! I definitely think its thanks to you showing me that im not the only person who struggles. It makes me feel a lot better and more inspired to help myself and help others when i can:) thank you from the bottom of my heart:)

Auri, I'm so glad you made the best decision for YOU and YOUR mental health! Sami is a big boy. And if he cares for you, he will support you no matter what! Not everyone is a perfect match, even if we really really want it. To become a better version of ourselves, we have to face the hard truth sometimes, and it will hurt. I'm so proud of you, and of this mother for saving herself and her son from a violent partner! (My ex husband tried to kill me and my son twice, and I got away) ♥

You are such a beautiful person, inside and out! 💖 I’m glad there was no drama, and you are smart to realize that sometimes the best decisions can be painful to our heart, but will be rewarding for (all involved) in the long run. I wish more people had that introspection and understanding of self love as you do, Auri. 🌸💕 Often, young people get too wrapped up with what they think society expects of them, and rather than be true to themselves, they do what they (think) they’re supposed to do instead of what is in their heart; their authenticity in life decisions. I’m glad you and Sami are on good terms. 😊
