There are cultures where one doesn't use picknick blankets but rather a rug because it is nicer to sit on. Or for example if the family sits together outside in the garden they sit on a rug rather than chairs. And rather than putting that rug back inside every day and carrying the dirt back inside they just leave it outside and clean it once in a while. And if nature then goes crazy (let's say a storm or something) well... *points at the video * you get that as well😂😂😂

Прикольно увидеть ковëр из своего детства - абсолютно идентичный висел на стене у моей кровати (я родилась и выросла в маленьком посëлке, в тайге, в Сибири). Во времена СССР ковры были признаком достатка, способом теплоизоляции (на полу, т.к. в деревянных домах пол всегда холодный) и шумоизоляции (на стене, на полу - городские многоквартирные дома старого жилого фонда были почти все с отличной слышимостью). Теперь вспоминаю, как перед сном разглядывала узоры этого ковра.))

I was pleased to see a tiny clip showing the flooded house and the dog swimming to safety. Silt is so much different than mud. This one appears to be mud. I have never owned such a rug or been flooded, but a few blocks east have seen Lake Erie in their houses. The runoff looks so different when it’s silt.
