I felt the same way! I was on the edge of my seat watching so much material being carved away. The final vase was such an amazing surprise-truly a work of art! @@MaskedReviews I too would love to know what was being used. I'm wondering if it was the activator for a two-part spray glue that we just didn't see the first half application for...because the pencils didn't stick to the jig when they were being glued into sheets.

I've always been interested in turning and this was a great idea to use colored pencils. Great artwork! The colors are lovely and the yellow stripes add a little extra.. Few would believe what a vase is made of. Fantastic! You are clearly a very creative artist! Absolutely fantastic. The only downside is the long video, but it's part of the job description because it works great as an instructional video Thank you very much for the skills and creativity show! As a carpenter, I was always interested in combining different colors with wood in the lathe, because if you have a three-dimensional vision, you can create unique and eye-catching works in the lathe that are unique. I really enjoyed watching your ideas and skills💙

If you grease the inside of that stuff you wrapped around the pencils before you pour the resin it'll come off easier. You can use petroleum jelly.

I love all the colors in this vase. I have a question: Have you ever tried to make something using those bread clips (that keep the bag closed on bread wrappers). I have a full (sandwich bag size) bag of them that I have collected over the years. They are all different colors and I would like to send them to you so you can make something really cool for me.
