отличный видео о важной теме, спасибо большое Олга!! but I want to ask you the following: Why отвезти and not везти in this sentence: oна не может отвезти меня в аэропорт??? (she can't take me to the airport) I know when you add the prefix от it would mean to take/transport away. But in this sentence you translate отвезти as simply to take (someone in a vehicle). Is it more common to say it that way (with отвезти and not везти)?? thank you in advance

@@AmazingRussian I strongly think it is a fictional story, I liked it... the merit of the story lies on the suspense the aurhor made... We readers thought it was an act of betrayal on the part of the wife; but in the end, the narrator- the wife, presented the lover ; it was her DOG

I appreciate the time and effort put into making these videos. However, this is still very confusing. At 09:20 you say "вы уверяете его что вы всегда *водите* машину осторожно." (водить -> водите), but then you say I should reply with "не волнуйся. Я всегда *езжу* осторожно". (езжу -> ездить). What not *вожу*? In both cases we have the same meaning of "driving", but we ended up using 2 different Russian verbs. Why is that?
@elyakimlev

Ah, I watched the next 10 seconds, in which you said I could use вожу as well. Never mind :)

Я очень полюбил этот урок! Вы не можете, пожалуйста, объснить предложение на 8.44? "Did you drive to California?": Разве это не предложение с одним направлением? Почему мы нужны применять глагол "Ездить"? Спасибо большое!
@ferruccio4531
@ferruccio4531 4 жыл бұрын
if the question presupposes a return trip in the past we use ездить. the person you're talking to, drove to California and then got back, as you can see it is a multidirectional event.
