Congrats on the success! Going from 0 to $3k/mo in online income is a huge deal. For outsourcing, I would just select one smaller part of the process, maybe design for example, and then go to Fiverr or Upwork to find the best person within your budget. If you don't like working with them, re-do the process until you have found the right person. Taking it one small step at a time will make it feel more manageable, and will build your hiring skills and confidence in taking tasks off your plate.

Emma your story is amazing enough and far more relatable. But $90K in 2 years? With "just" 21 books? Fabulous and I imagine you've had some spectacular 4th quarter sales. Might I ask what vague genre you're publishing in? And if you have a background that relates at all? Such as English degree or creative writing and you create novels? I'm just starting, mostly researching like crazy at the moment. I have some nonfiction in the works and am doing some coloring books which I know is so cliche for newbies. I do have a degree in graphic communications, desktop and digital publishing with book design and graphic design emphasized. So the coloring books are up my alley. I've done some writing over the years and have a couple of novels conceived.

@@renel7303 Research is a massive part of it. Writing to the market is important. Don't put your heart and soul into something where there is no demand. My books so far are mostly medium content but I have done coloring books too and with your graphic design skills I'd definitely give them a shot. Make sure your book is amazing - if content and cover are top notch then you're already doing better than 90% of your competitors. Most of all, just stick at it. Not every book sells well so it's important not to get disheartened. My niche sells well at Christmas time but also is in very high demand in Jan and Feb.

I was happy and shared, how I did $1000 in 7 months. Fully agree about 80/20. Same results with my top3-4 books and it's hard to say why, if there are similar books with nearly 0$ in results. And it looks, that you miss role of right pricing. Sometime, I want to increase/decrease price, but if people are buying your books and specially, if they are leaving good reviews(or at least no bad reviews) - it means, that it worth it. So, it's good to make good books(I'm making not low content books and only about themes I know), but at last - it's customer's choice.

If I made $315,000 in ONE Month with Amazon KDP I would buy a house for 150k, install solar plates and rain catching system, invest 100k in smaller apartment, rent out and live of rent, and have 50k reserved for daily expenses. Most definitively would not be making KZbin videos, but relaxing in front of a beach or pool. Life is too short to always chase money.

Excellent point. We all clicked this video because of the title so it works to grab our attention but sometimes these revenue claims go to the extreme unnecessarily. Most of us would be happy with $6k-$10k per month without trying to sell us unrealistic goals. Plus I always wonder, if anyone was making that much money each month, why would they waste time making videos on KZbin? I wouldn't.

Hi Thomass, I have two 200 page activity books for teens (that have not made more than 130 sales). I think my keywords are correctly placed in the title and subtitle, and my covers are pretty good. I may not have launched well enough for the second book (launched in late July). Hi Elise, it's hard to say without seeing the listings. If niche, keywords, interior and cover are all good, then the next question would be marketing. Along the lines of... do you have enough good reviews, are you running some Amazon ads and so on.

In a broad sense those could be realistic multipliers. I would go higher in December. For the "highly gift-able" categories like kids, jokes/gags, trivia and similar the multiplier can be more extreme.

First, for clarity I want to state that a set up like this has 0 effect on sales in either direction, positive or negative. It gives more options, and more diversification (and also more hassle and complexity). For example, I could sell one LLC with it's book catalogue.

It shouldn't be a problem, since as I mentioned in the video, the accounts are owned and run by legal entities. The distinction between natural persons and legal entities seems to be hard for many to wrap their heads around. In this context, it means legal entities would likely present company formation documents and similar. That said, this shouldn't be something most people concern themselves with because having 1 vs 2 LLCs has no effect on sales performance, and in fact is an additional hassle to maintain them. I only talked about because I knew I couldn't show the full results without addressing the topic a bit more extensively.

@letsfinanceyourfreedom because their responses are not trustworthy, they contradict each other and never gives you a yes or not answer...maybe by law you are perfectly fine with having multiple LLCs since they're different legal entities and the rule is: 1 Legal Entity = 1 Account. What scares me the most is the tax identification and classification interview and how Amazon interpret this thing related to the multi account policy. Maybe you are legally right ,but in their backend they see the ultimate beneficial owner twice in their system and they automatically flag your accounts as multi accounts and then you have to deal with account re opening which is burdensome and often you just speak to a bot and almost never ends well...even if you are technically right. KDP Support is just ridiculous, asking them will never lead you anywhere and even if they give you a certain answer you will never truly knows how they handle this thing on their backend
