Yooooo nice review! The Lightbulb in the truck bed is the bed lighting, so you can see things back there in the dark. And the emergency flashers (hazard lights) can be turned on by a button above the rearview mirror :) Thanks for the content, always down for a good adventure!

Questions answered! Yeah the lightbulb I figured was kind of obvious once I watched that part again😬 wish I would’ve tested it! And didn’t know about the emergency hazards, didn’t even think to check up there!

@@FridayAdventureClub Voltage regulation issues. You could see a spike or a sag, both of which can kill the numerous expensive electronic components in an EV.

I am a Prime Member at Amazon & get several deliveries every month and have a question for you. I live in an apartment building with seven separate -1st floor units in a row and recently watched a video where the Amazon driver had a ride-along 'inspector'. As the driver went about his deliveries I noticed that on some deliveries he knocked on the door or rang the doorbell, and on others he did not. Is there something on the package label that tells the driver to knock or ring that I could be doing when I order? I enjoy watching all of your videos . . . Thanx!

Great question! Sounds like that driver was probably in training or possible someone from corporate was doing a ride along to do some observations. As far as whether to knock, ding, or neither, occasionally people will have specific order notes with instructions. Like doorbell doesn’t work, please knock. Or baby sleeping, don’t ding doorbell. But majority of the time it’s just up to the driver to decide!

I’m curious as time passes how much time the edv is off the road for maintenance and repair vs it’s counterparts. With no oil changes and less moving parts it should have more uptime unless Rivian’s short experience as a manufacturer impacts that.

Great question! Biggest things for the EDV have been tires, mirrors, and CV Joints. All of which must be fixed by Rivian mobile service or towed to authorized service provider. But yes, no oil changes! And since the Rivians are newer there are fewer nagging issues that art starting to pop up in transits/promasters/sprinters! Just depends on service center/parts availability but the wait time on minor fixes has been getting quicker!

Great question! Definitely falls in the mid-size category. Leg room is okay, I fit. But not roomy by any means!

I for the van based on comments from my DSP owner is around $80-$100k. Not sure what market value for the truck is now, probably around the same!
