I just got approved yesterday and I am sooooooo freaking excited. I want to do things right so I am watching these videos so this weekend I can start uploading my designs!!! I already sell on 3 platforms. Red Bubble, Tee Spring and Threadless. I applied twice. Mine took a week to get approved. I might do as video soon about how I got approved.

Great video, Ryan! Awaiting my application status. Question for ya, in this video you suggested only running the Standard T-Shirt if listing your first product. Why wouldn't you suggest selecting all of the product types to increase the likelihood of making sales?

Great video for starting out. Does anyone else have an issue with the new dashboard. T100 when my slots are full, it won’t let me add new “products” or amend current “product” prices. It feels like a bug as the coding seems to assume your “design” slots are full, even though the new changes allow more “products”

So, question about all of this. Could you combine Amazon merch with Amazon affiliate? What I mean is if you make a design on a t shirt under your merch account, could you search for your item and use your Amazon affiliate link to turn around and get commission and royalties at the same time?

I got in on my third time just this past week. The first two times I just filled out the form. The last time I did use some tips I heard online and either I just got lucky or those tips helped. Anyway I've uploaded a few designs and they are under review. Not sure how long that normally takes. Hope it works for me.

@@TwinkleTVi I’m now in tier 100 I have about 30 designs up (all hand drawn pieces so that’s why so few). But I sell two shirts a day and make about $7. Last month I made $86. Not huge but small steps.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but... If Amazon is holding 30% of an international seller's s profit are they sending it to the country we live and pay taxes in? If not then... how is it helpful... or even right? We STILL have to pay taxes on money earned from abroad, including that 30% that we don't have. Amazon withholding it doesn't seem to be helpful or for tax purposes. It sounds like they are taking a cut of international seller's profits.

@@RyanHoguePassiveIncome hey Ryan..thanks for all your videos,i am sure you are very busy,but i will try,,i have been on Merch about 6 months,,all of my shirts only show 'currently unavailable'..and it has been like that since my first month:(.. i tried all the tricks,,changing my address etc,,,but nothing changed,,:(... i live in ireland...but i upload on KDP and all my uploads can be found when i search- so i dont think my problem is my location...I am very disheartened by this obviously:(.. Only possibility..is i have had about 4 rejections since i began for 'politically incorrect' designs...but thats a guess!:(.. Any ideas or advice would be seriously appreciated!:).. Thank you

That’s how it was for me until I got serious last year. I learned about research and how to do basic designs. I went from tier 25 where I was for two years and I am now tier 500.
