Thanks! This was great! I'm always so afraid to use "shirt" because of the warning that comes up, but I think I'm going to take my chances! From what I've seen, the best selling designs most commonly do use the word Tshirt Inside the title.

Merch may not index the description but I've heard that Google indexes it (heard that for KDP, too). So I use my title and bullet points for a description.

Does it take some time for Amazon to fully index items? If I put the FULL, EXACT titles of my shirt in the search bar, it comes up. But if I search on the main keyword string, even though it's the first thing in the title and it's also in the brand and bullets, it doesn't come up within the 7 pages that show up in search. To say it's depressing is an understatement.

Do you suppose they will ever ding people for using the term gift and birthday stuff anytime in the future? Also, when you were checking to see if the descriptions were being indexed or not and you checked amazon's front end, did you also check to see if it impacted google searches?

Does placement of keywords within the brand make any difference at all concerning seo. I always put my actually brand name first, followed by niche, followed by t-shirt details. Is putting my actual brand name first before the t-shirt niche/detail affect indexing at all????????????

I am not 100% sure about brand I've only seen limited data/split tests. I think you either want to add your product to the top products brand or just at a minimum include your primary keywords in the brand

Amazon doesn't let us use the word shirt or other attributes in our titles or descriptions. I have no idea what that's all about.

You can use your main relevant keywords in title and in bullets you must need to be write content in answering way ! And description must be good enough to convert buyer

Speaking of Merch by Amazon, I do have a question. I applied with Merch back in July of 2021 and I have still not received a response from them. I have also logged into my merch account every month to see if they just forgot to notify me. I always see the following message: "Your request is pending review, our average review time is approximately 14 days". After waiting close to 6 months with no actual response from Amazon, would you reapply or continue waiting it out until eventually hearing back from them?
