Hi Steven, just a follow up question... if you add another SKU to an existing discovery campaign that is performing, will that fall another restructuring a campaign? If so, is it better to leave that campaign as it is to not mess with its performance and create another campaign for the other SKUs? Thanks!

@@MyAmazonGuy Hi Steven, again thanks for the informative Amazon PPC tutorial. It seems obvious to me that future product placements will need to budget for PPC expense in the determination of product placement. In determining product placement, do you currently access the price sensitivity of a product's segment or sub-segment? If so, what methodology(s) are you employing? Although the widely available apps cannot directly measure this, I feel, the price sensitivity can generally be inferred by manually filtering sales results by both sub-segment, price, and total sales. Again, thank you from saving us from all the self promotional sophists and legerdemain.

Awesome one-stop Amazon PPC Video, as always. I’m a kindle direct publisher and I was wondering if you have tips for kdp ads? We’re always working with tight margins (1-2 dollars) and it’s quite competitive. Would be great if you’d consider making a video catered for kdp. There are many kdp influencers who did ppc videos but I found many to be misleading. Prefer listening to amazon ppc experts, but can’t deny the fact that we work with different constraints in kdp. Thanks Steven!

I want to know two things related to Amazon PPC 1 - Let's say I have the keyword "Frypan". should I add it in broad, phrase, and exact match campaigns at the same time? Or should I put it in the negative of broad and phrase? 2- Let's say I found a converting search term in auto or broad campaign. Should I target it in the exact match campaign and put it in the negative of auto and broad? If not then how to use converting search terms of auto, broad and phrase campaigns?
@MyAmazonGuy2 жыл бұрын
1) add frypan to all 3 campaigns with unique match types. You will get 3 different results. Adjust accordingly.

2) never never never negate a good keyword. Leave the auto and broad doing it. Add it to an exact.

Continuous monitoring and adaptation are key to achieving cost savings and improving profitability.

Do we still believe Ad campaigns with more than 5 search terms per campaign negatively impact search terms 6 through 20? How do we know this? Thanks!
@MyAmazonGuy Жыл бұрын
There is no definitive rule stating that having more than 5 search terms per ad campaign negatively impacts search terms 6 through 20. The performance of an Amazon PPC campaign can depend on a multitude of factors, such as the relevance of the keywords, the competitiveness of the product category, the product's price, reviews, and more. However, it's generally a good practice to limit the number of keywords in a single campaign to ensure that your budget is effectively distributed among the keywords. If there are too many keywords in one campaign, your budget may be quickly exhausted by a few high-cost keywords, leaving little to no budget for the remaining ones. This could potentially limit the visibility of your ads for those keywords. To determine the optimal number of keywords per campaign, you can conduct A/B tests with different numbers of keywords and monitor the performance of each campaign. Over time, this can give you a better understanding of what works best for your specific products and market.

Hi Steve, I have learned so much to your video, thank you! I'm a newbie in learning PPC. - negating keyword phrase with those high ACOS, but also taking into consideration into checking your search term report from time to time to archive certain keywords in your negative campaign if a sale occurs. - importance of NOT taking down auto campaign to convert them into manual. - Better off leaving auto campaign and manual campaign together. - Making sure to have only 1-5 keywords per campaign to AVOID cannibalization. My question is, what is your rule of a thumb when its about time to PAUSE an automatic campaign?
@MyAmazonGuy Жыл бұрын
It depends. Why would you want to pause the auto campaign?
@jhensenjanetgo Жыл бұрын
@@MyAmazonGuy Got it, Steve, I will not pause it, but instead, let it be to show Amazon data.

How's Amazon algorithm take singular and plurals of same keyword? Should we have used those singular and plurals separately in both listing optimization and PPC?
@MyAmazonGuy2 жыл бұрын
No. Do not use plurals

'they went with no text A+ content that's a mistake" - What if they added it in the back end of the images, is it still a mistake?
@MyAmazonGuy Жыл бұрын
It seems like the client chose not to include any text in their A+ content, which is a common mistake. However, if they added text in the back end of the images, it could potentially help improve the visibility and discoverability of their product. Adding relevant keywords and descriptive text in the image metadata can assist in optimizing search rankings and attracting potential customers. So, adding text in the back end of the images could be a good strategy to enhance the overall effectiveness of their A+ content.

If we added the plural form of a keyword to an ad campaign, is it meaningful to add its singular form as well? Would these two cannibalize each other? Thanks!
@MyAmazonGuy9 ай бұрын
Adding both singular and plural forms of a word to your ads is a good idea. They catch different kinds of searches, so you won't miss out. Don't worry too much about them competing with each other. Just keep an eye on how they're doing and adjust if needed. It's all about getting seen by more people!

I've seen them all, and this really is the best amazon PPC content. My ROAS has increased by 25% since implementing your ideas. One question I have to continue to improve my Amazon PPC. I stopped negating words I want to promote in a new campaign. It helped, but not my budget is out of whack. If I lower the bid or budget in the original campaign, does that negatively affect the history? Thanks again for the great Amazon PPC content.
