That really sucks. I won't buy brushes from amazon any more because I see stories of people getting used or returned brushes all the time. I only buy from spray gunner. I don't know what to say about the nozzle situation. I don't take the nozzle off unless I'm doing a deep cleaning of the brush. If the brush sprays great and the nozzles are not terrible expensive it still might be an option for me to try one. I can get one at spraygunner for $100. I have shakey hands because of a cancer med I take so I would like to try a trigger style brush to see if I can be a bit more steady. I also liked the fan cap for larger kits which I have several....lol But I don't know you got me thinking.

That's a shame! Especially since I recently started using their products and I have been happy with them. I did buy a Master model G79 trigger type air brush. Which has separate air and paint adjustment on it. Thanks for the video😎👍

That’s too bad. I love Mr. Hobby stuff. The one brush I do own I don’t use too much. I just purchased a Gaahleri airbrush. Very innovative tip & nozzle design. I’d just return it and move onto another brand.👍

You didn't say if the tip was missing from the airbrush and that the broken one was the only one. I have the same airbrush and love it but you're right about the tip being tiny. I won't take the tip off unless absolutely necessary. The paints that I use are all thinned with lacquer thinner and I clean them right away using multiple cleanings with the lacquer thinner. So far so good.

The Iwata HP-TH has the same design ,in fact you can switch parts and they work. Sorry about the broken nozzle.

Wow they really dropped the ball sending you a replacement with the same issue! Totally unacceptable...at this point I would get my money back. And your right that nozzle is to small for it to be robust enough for someone with a heavy hand and should be redesigned and I would actually buy another one if they did that.... But I can say the same thing about the passche H the new replacment needles on them are now made from a lower grade of stainless that is magnetic unlike the original one that was not magnetic and much better quality.... my H is 35yrs old and is made better than todays passche H.. This is the problem company's are constantly looking for ways to cut cost and use cheaper materials.... Even plastic kits made in China do not use virgin plastic they use recycled plastic which has caused all kinds of problems with paint and primer reactions later as the built model ages.... And I know cause I have a stash of models from the late 80s and 90s to compare todays too. Only company I know of that uses virgin plastic is Tamiya cause of their high standards. I've worked in a plastic factory making blow mold and injection plastic products there are very few such factories left in the USA now. Most are abandoned or just warehouses. Wasn't your fault the nozzle broke and they should have sent you a new one not one that was returned that just piss poor service and you have every right to say you do not recommend thier product after this experience.

Thank you for the content and sharing. In regard to your Brush painting video, are you using Tamiya Enamels or Tamiya Acrylics? adding thinner, multiple coats, hints/tips? I reside in Canada and have access to Tamiya Enamels.

How hilarious, if I accidentally cut myself with a knife, I wouldn’t call “metal with sharp edge” as a design flaw, it’s simply that the user doesn’t master it. This exact teeny tiny nozzle design you called “flaw” existed even before you were born. This “design flaw” also existed in those best of best ABs from Richpen, Oplympos, Iwata, Badger and I hear no one else calling it a “design flaw”. Truth is, if you ever try to hunt a detail AB without tiny nozzle, H&S or Paasche is your only choice. I can only understand your comment by assuming that you never used a detail AB from Japanese brands or Badger. But again, after you reckon there are so many top ABs with tiny nozzles in this world, you won’t call it “design flaw” anymore.
