Im working on this kit now... 2nd one I've done. Only thing i can say is, it does test your painting skills to highlight the exhaust... Engine, by far the best part of the kit.... i think the interior sucks, as well

I built models (poorly) when I was a kid about 13 and quit when I got into high school. I'm now in my 50s and have gotten back into it again and am really enjoying it.

How can I get you to ship me some of this stuff? I've been wanting to use 2k but haven't found a good budget friendly solution. And you have sold me on this.

Man I wished I had watched this before I purchased my Mars 3 pro. Mine is only 3 months old and I am going down that same rabbit hole. It all started with the ribbon cable coming off the LCD screen, now its the motor. Just started working wit Elegoo support.

My last build I used ModPodge & baking soda, the painted with lacquer and flat clear, turned out pretty good,

Rust oleum ruined the testers brand and did away with model masters. I hate when these big ass companies come in buy up the small guys and ruin it for the consumer. Tamiya enamels are excellent but can’t get in the US.

I know Revell uses the level system on their other types of kits, aircraft, ships, etc. From what I have read the level system pertains to the number of parts, not difficulty. The more parts a kit has, the higher their number.

I'm on my second replacement motor for the Mars 3 Pro and it still isn't working right. "Support" is friendly and (fairly) quick to respond, but with no resolution to my issue it's all for nothing. Literally just wasted time, money, and energy.

Here is 1 tip for you instead of using paper towels to catch the excess . use greaseproof or baking sheets to catch it that way you dont lose any excess because it slips right off and does not leave any in the fibres like it will on paper towels

Testors .25 oz bottle enamels have plenty of colors to choose from.. Rustoleum discontinued the Model Master paints but still producing enamel .25 oz bottles and acrylics. 25 oz bottles. I've been to several stores and haven't seen the .25 oz acrylics sold separately though. They have been available in a package kit. The .25 oz enamels have been available separately and in package kits

Awesome idea for the community, I will be donating a couple of kits to a holiday toy, my buddies Car Club is doing a toy drive at one of the upcoming Cars and Coffee's. Completely agree though, with tech out there it is a lot different than when I was growing up. My daughter builds off and on, my son has very little interest, but I've worked on builds with all 5 of my kids at some point as they were growing up. Similar conversation I was having with my buddy Mars, when it comes to trying new things, especially with kustom builds, I know I was a lot more willing to attempt things when kits were a lot more available, and 8-10 dollars compared to a 30-40 price tag with no sales. Great idea though!
