I recently have been contemplating to make a big sword plants the centerpiece of my aquarium, because everyone puts them in corners or in the back, i think putting them dead center in the aquarium is unique and when the leaves grow out they can stretch out in all directions 😅

Great tip about the air stone next to the Amazon sword. I’m about to put one in the tank. I’ll make sure it’s nowhere near it. Thanks for this video.

Can't you just put in an algae eater to clean the leaves?

Amazon swords were the only planted plant in my nine year old tank that the goldfish didn’t pull up.

I have 3 amazon swords I put in a 110 gal stock tank with my 9 goldfish, I have them in a BIG bowl planter & put 5 root tabs just under the plant's, so I'm hoping that will keep them going.

@@raisinggoldfishonabudget7058 That sounds good to me. Just keep an eye on them if you notice any holes or yellow in the leaves. Them you might need more tabs
