Dock is def. underrated lol the only thing is I don't really have much experience in that area I only stayed in the dock area for about a week then went back into stow area lol, felt like I was at a whole different job lol.

Back when I was in the warehouse, the PAs pretty much ran the floor. I had so much respect for them and felt bad because they did as much if not more work than the AMs but didn't get as much credit, especially in the early days of the pandemic. I was in SmartPac and only saw my manager once or twice a day, if at all (we didn't have to go to standup with the rest of Singles). It was mostly just the PA and PG holding it down,

I got my incline recently, only worked for amazon for 4 and a half months but honestly I’m feeling like I don’t want the position bc more and more I deal with running the operations like the floor/dock the more I see that I would honestly rather be in path most of the time

Trust me that happens more than often than most think. And I know a two people who have stepped down because of that. At first that was annoying to me but it was due to me being new to the position, once I learned it I enjoyed having the floor to myself. But i totally understand where your coming from🤞🏾

Hi, I inquired about being a PA and my manager is really insistent on training me. I’m very excited, I’m currently learning problem solve and it’s so much fun. I am nervous about teaching others that is my main concern. Also I have noticed me my personality in Tier 1 is going to have to change in Tier 3. I’m very social and also known for talking and getting along with almost every employee. Especially with me being the one of youngest, I need to figure out how to make people see me as someone who is in a leadership position.

That's good a pay raise every 6 months. My facility Garner NC RDU1 it's only if other people in your department have a higher pay than you. Every week my manager and PA come tell me I'm in 2% stowing in the whole building and my building has 4 floors over 6,000 people in the building.

At sort centers and delivery center it’s best to be a process guide that helps you become a process assistant.. I was a process guide at a delivery centers and became a pa from that.. now I’m a area manager.

I’ve been at Amazon for six months and two weeks at ABQ1, a new site. I have also been a Learning Ambassador for three months. Are the PA interview questions focused on the Amazon Principles and using the STAR method of answering their questions? Can you give any tips on what their questions are or are about. I would try to have a few stories that you can use for multiple leadership principles. And not sure on the task method but I know there’re big on the star method. And keep going over your stories if it’s over chime have them near you durning the interview.

PA's are people at the end of the day so if you have a person who's abusive/walks over people as a person they're going to do the same and probably even worse in a position that gives them any type of authority.

That's not entirely true my fellow Amazonian I've been working for Amazon for 3yrs 8 months and I've been on the ship dock the entire time I'm a Pit driver,TDR,work the Robot in transship,ambassador and DEA and I only have one ride up and that was an accident it was for low productivity and I wasn't supposed to gotten that and I'm just becoming a PA i've been inclined twice But nonetheless it is a great place to work and build a career

I've been a picker for 3 years by choice. I was told you had to have a degree. Come to find out you don't. I'm a little intimidated by the resume and interview process. I've had to jobs that spanned 23 years and I didn't have to use resumes.
