Worst thing about Kaltenbrunner he tried to deny everything. Great insights/footage!

Kaltenbrunner's facial scars were supposed to be from duelling with swords, they were regarded as scars of honour. But, it was proved that his scars were in fact self inflicted.

Hi Neil,I also read that some might have been from a car accident he was involved in while being drunk and behind the wheel, have you a link or anything about his scars being self inflicted?

I saw a picture of kaltenbrunner that shows a big indentation in his skull. I believe that that was why he was in the infirmary. I think he tried suicide by banging his head on something. Just my theory.

If you study history, it was considered a “mark of honor” by upper class gentlemen who fenced. They’re almost always found on the same spot as Kaltenbrunners. I’ve never seen any evidence of self-infliction. Thank you, ambassador, for your outstanding work of bringing these vile men to justice.

The comment by Goering was actually about the allies bombing Berlin which us Brits did before the Americans

Ya, and it was the Brits who first bombed civilian targets in Germany and the Germans naturally retaliated. Churchill was a tough old bulldog, one of his glaring defects was that he never saw a war he didn't like! He was a drunken old warmonger.....

@@kosmonaut3831 Rubbish. A German Heinkel dropped it's bombs by mistake over an outskirt of London. The pilots were court marshalled as there were strict orders not to harm civilians or to drop bombs over any city, no matter how small. The Brits were informed of it. Churchill kept this quiet and ordered bombs to be dropped on German cities. The real warmonger was Churchill who as early as 1936 advocated war with Germany. Churchill was also heavily indebted to London Bankers. 2 Days after Britain declared war on Germany his debts were cancelled ! His biographer alluded to that after the war, confirmed in the 1980's. Churchill in his drunken stuper let the cat out of the sack in a 1949 speech, and admitted in his memoires that the war was an economic war to keep the Germans down.

@@kosmonaut3831 Nope....the version of a German Bomber being chased with an English fighter is a fable used by the Brits as propaganda that has been debunked decades ago. The bombs were dropped because the German bomber was running low on fuel and the clouds were low. The Germans were off by 10 km, they thought they were outside of London. There is actually a document in which the Germans apologised . Google it or read the British Telegraph 19 November 2002. ( Seems KZbin doesn't let me post the link). Hope that settles it.

piece of shit, in my opinion. Let's other men do the fighting and then when the dust settles, he shows up on the scene to start giving orders. Spending his military service in a unit where the jews who also don't fight - which is the great majority of them-go to shirk their duty.

(respectfully) If you do a bit of research, you'll find that Goering said, "If one *enemy* bomb falls on Berlin, you can call me Meyer" So the RAF bombed Berlin, and by '43-'45, the UAAF hit Berlin too. (FWIW, my father flew on some of those missions as a gunner on a B-24 heavy bomber)

@@kentamitchell Wrong, if you do a bit of research, he said if even one bomb hits the RUHR not Berlin, then you can call me Meyer, which the British hit in 1940,

This documentary is so interesting from a pshycosocial point of view. John Dolibois talks naturally, convinced about his values... he founds funny to make certain jokes. Because the social frame he is shaped in justify all these believes and values. Sad still present at some point nowadays. Thanks for sharing!!!

I think he's wrong saying goring said if the US bombs fell on Berlin, it was more like if any bombs fell on Berlin, which yhey did, delivered by the RAF long before the US were involved in ww2

And it was reported that even Heinrich Himmler was afraid of Ernst Kaltenbrunner. I don't know if it's true but when you compare the two men it's easy to see why a short ex chicken farmer would be terrified of a 6 foot 4 scarred up former lawyer.
