We're joining the Ambition next week. We've managed to get our formal wear from local charity shops too. My dress was £8 and my partner's suit was £25. Seems to be the going rate! Great videos by the way, really helpful and honest. Thank you.

I enjoy dressing up on cruises because we never get to do it at home. I really think dress codes should be enforced. Anyway, very enjoyable video. What a lovely way to spend your anniversary. We had booked a cruise for our 50th anniversary but the pandemic hit so it was cancelled.

As you can see, we enjoy dressing up as well. It makes some nights feel special. I guess the cruise companies are an invidious position as there is a huge market out there of people for whom a collar and tie or cocktail dress are a turn-off. Ive booked a Med cruise in 2026 for 31 days with them. As a solo you must book early to get a cabin or wait near the cruise for a bargain fare. Solos nearly pay what 2 pay sadly, seems unfair but Ambassador are better for solo travellers.
