Ambassador Cruise Line - Ambition Day 2, Sea Day and Formal Night

In April 2024 we travelled onboard Ambassador Cruise Lines newest ship, Ambition. We embarked from London Tilbury Cruise Terminal after experiencing Ambassador's coach transfer from Bristol. We then spent 6 nights onboard cruising around the south of the UK, calling at Honfleur in France, St Peter Port in Guernsey and Plymouth before arriving in Bristol.
In this second video of the series it is a sea day onboard Ambition where we make the most of the ships facilities and enjoy some interesting activities onboard. It is also the ship's formal night where there is a sugested, but not enforced black tie dress code.

Ambition started sailing with ambassador in May 2023, and originally sailed as Mistral for Festival Cruises. She has sailed under Ibero, Costa and Aida Cruises before her move to Ambassador. Ambition can carry up to 1200 passengers in her 680 cabins across 10 passenger decks.

Wow - how interesting to hear of a dining room that's a combination of a buffet and a dining room experience - I've never heard of that before! Love the thought of that event in the theatre to kick off formal night! Great video, as always :)

Was watching one of Emma's videos and saw you both made a comment. When I saw your video decided to watch. Tea time is great. Both my wife and I enjoyed it. Great tea, most times, and the pastries they had were very good. Some even had good sandwiches also. Our favorite tea time though was when we went to Bermuda. Hope the passenger that was evacuated was okay. Nothing wrong with liking Lamb. My wife liked it a lot. Salmon is very good. Which wines do you like? Sometimes it happens when the day and/or night just zips on by.

It was good to have something different to do on a sea day, the entertainment was great on this cruise. We really appreciated the late night snacks, we couldn't find them every night though 😢

Thanks for watching! There were definitely a few sugar free options at afternoon tea. In the main dining room it was printed at the bottom of the menu to speak to your waiter for sugar free options.

Was there many solo travellers on the ship? I’m going to Norway on my own on ambition in October.

We spoke to a few solo travellers onboard and we noticed a solo meet every night in The Cavern. You should have no trouble finding other solos onboard.

The lady who breed lambs probably bred them for the table in any case so you were keeping her in business by eating the lamb.
