I went again recently on a 3 night cruise from Bristol to Liverpool and the ship was literally jumping in the evenings...it was party central all the way...I absolutely love the atmosphere onboard...i think it can obviously vary with the demographic, the cruise length and just a different mix of people but i have really enjoyed both cruises equally

Is there a way to sneak wine on board? 2. Loading the Ship Card, if all is included, what would you need to pay for? Besides the paid restaurants. Keep up the great videos. 😊❤

Thanks for watching! We’re not sure about sneaking wine on, we didn’t try, we had a drinks package. In terms of spending onboard if you haven’t got a drinks package any you purchase will go onto your account. You might also book excursions. In addition, if you haven’t booked the Ambassador fare there is a daily gratuity charge that will be added to your account. Hope you have a lovely cruise! 🚢

It’s definitely an older demographic and it was a bit tamer than what we’re used to! Can’t beat the price though.

Enjoyed this and more and more Vloggers are saying the same about Ambassador… Have to say what superb value this trip was. But some compromises are inevitable at this price. That said you certainly made the most of your time aboard .. Thanks for sharing

Am subscribed Did hit the like button. It shows support for your channel. Easy embarkation is good. Ah, have sailed on the Dam ship also. No baked potato? I saw the different cocktails, and other drinks, but, no wine. Did they sit you at a table with other people?

Thank you! There was a baked potato with one meal but they scooped it out, mashed it and then piped it back into the skin. We did share a table but there were some smaller tables available too.

Thanks for your informative and helpful videos. My husband and I are going on a cruise in mid-July. I'd like to ask a couple more questions. What is the temperature inside the vessel? I don't want to overload my luggage with unnecessary clothes. Is it worth buying a package if we are not heavy drinkers? I see a package price of £650 per cruise per person. That's almost the price of another cruise. The information says that tips are not included. How to pay tips if ship cards work on board? Should we take cash with us to pay for tips? Is it possible to open packs of cigarettes purchased on board from a duty free shop or only after disembarking the ship in the UK?

Thank you! No issues either temperature for us, the public areas were air conditioned and we found them comfortable. Drinks packages are a very individual choice, ours was part of the deal we booked and we thought it was very good but the individual drinks prices are well priced too. Gratuities will be added to your onboard account daily, you can tip additionally in cash if you want to but it isn’t required. We can’t help with the duty free information as neither of us are smokers.

​​@@olgarobins15depends where you are going, so July is summer but you can get a chill wind at sea. Pack a good waterproof jacket and one jumper. Take less, work out just what you need not I might like this or that, it mounts up. Climate change is now bringing extreme weather. You will pay a gratuity charge on your account at about £8 a day, this is so ALL the workers in the kitchens etc get a share,.so there is no tipping allowed bar the automatic pre charge. Unless you are a a heavy drinker stay away from drink packages which cost a lot. I'm booked on a 31 day cruise in Med on this ship.

​@@sistersontheseasyou shouldn't have tipped in cash as you know there is a gratuity charge already. If any employees are found to have took a cash tip then that is not allowed & he or she could lose their job, it's tantamount to stealing from their fellow workers & can lead to other more serious chargers.

Nice to hear positive reviews than people petty niggling away. I'm booked on this ship in 2026 for 31 days in the Med. Tho if stupid people put towels on sun loungers then have a 2hr breakfast then there will be war. Cant stand that practice.

We didn’t have nice enough weather to report back on the sunbed situation but I’d imagine the staff on Ambition would have it all in hand 😊
