@@erikaitsumi2633 As somebody who lives in the United States I can tell you that’s a bad idea. Unless you like living in a country where you’re barely represented because the laws that affect you can be completely out of your control and made by delusional psychos on the other side of the continent. Federal Law overrides state law and if I wanted to get rid of the NFA for example (one of the primary limiters on the 2nd Amendment) I’d have to convince half the country instead of half of my state. The only thing that holds this country together is it’s structural foundations and the constitution. Both of which are being constantly eroded. Ultimately though that’s your call and regardless of what you want it doesn’t affect me. Frankly I’ve spoken too much anyway. Regardless have a good day.

Unification of institutions would improve their quality and efficiency. United foreign policy would make Europe safer and more resilant against influence of autocrats and dictatorships. And paradoxially, that would make my voice have more weight. Im a liberal but my country keeps voting in conservative politicians into power. National government doesnt care for me because they are right-wing populists in a right-wing country. But federalised Europe would have many parties and coalition governments would form - sometimes center-right would win, sometimes center-left.
