Johnny depp's lawyer camille nailed it. She asked amber indirectly that she has so many pictures of Johnny sleeping but not a picture of her hurt or medical records of her being hurt. Also she enhanced the fact that johnny wears these rings on his finger and amber claimed to have been repeatedly struck by Johnny on her face but no picture evidence to show the impact of the rings and also next, she showed pictures of amber the very next day after her every accusation of Johnny beating her up and she apparently looks absolute fine .. she also pin pointed the fact that amber didn't pay the charity money and lied several times about it and under oath.

What I don't get is that she says she was scared he would take his anger out on her, yet she walked in while he was obviously angry, and insisted he talk to her. Well, ma'am, I think the smarter plan, if you are actually scared for you life, is to wait until he calms down to ask him why he was so angry. Is taking your anger out on cabinet doors and kicking things a healthy coping mechanism? No. But it's better than hitting a person. He clearly walks away instead of engaging with her. Yeah, everything I’ve heard about court is that the testimony is for the jurors, so the witness is answering the lawyers questions but answering them for/to the jury. The lawyers did the depositions, and especially in the case of her own attorneys, they should have the answers already, but it’s the jury that has to render a verdict, so the testimony is for their sake, and so addressed to them.

Not a dv victim myself, but I have been in traumatic situations perpetrated by people living in the same house as myself.. granted all people are different but certain furniture and objects around my living space I can never see for just what they are, they're always "this was the cause of this emotional hurt" or "I was sitting/standing/leaning on this when something awful happened".. and maybe. MAYBE. her therapist is really good at helping her disassociate surroundings with memories of trauma but.. I really don't see it. I can't even get past my feelings around a door in a specific room. That door was broken twice and replaced, but I look at the new door and only feel dread.

Mine doesn't fit in dv but I built my family a house out of desperation. i packed my stuff all at once when we moved. I had some very bad experiences in that house and it was nothing physical. I never went to that house again. My mom or sister picked up any other stuff I'd left there. They even sometimes miss that place but I don't. I hate going back there or even thinking about it. I do understand that humans are very good at coping and protecting themselves. Real trauma victims are protected by their brains... fuzzy memories are normal. For real. I am dv survivor going through my third year of court because my ex claimed I was the abuser to get money out of me. She sounds exactly like him. All talk no facts, while I have spent years collecting evidence that it was the other way around. And he did get some money out of me at first. She is just a disgusting person, and I hope she becomes the face of what an abuser looks like. Because they are convincing until you start to put everything together.

The direct was so boring. Just a bunch of acting and fake crying. Amber is a snooze to listen to and her grandma lawyer is SOO unlikeable as well. So far I’ve only seen a 2 min clip of cross and Camille was killing it!! Ive been impatiently waiting a week for this cross and I’m already satisfied after seeing only 2 mins. Camille is so much more professional than Elaine.

Yet not one single photo with marks on her neck or throat? That's some.of your most sensitive skin. It’s funny how Amber said she had makeup on to hide the bruises on her face and split lip the day following those injuries (and the application of ice for the swelling), like she’s the world’s best at applying makeup to hide such injuries. However, when discussing the scars on her arm noted in photos, she said they were harder to hide because they were so fresh. There is a product called Dermablend for scars, tattoos, bruises, birth marks, etc (I use it myself and am in no way a professional makeup artist), so why didn’t she cover those scars up like she said she did with other injuries? So suspicious as to her lying.
