Yep, my ex used to do the same "..but you leave" approach. Yes, I kept leaving because she would keep escalating the situation instead of working towards an honest solution. She also would pull the jealousy card because she knew most people will picture a man getting angry and possibly physical if they're jealous. Exactly what Amber was doing today instead of sticking with the "he would go into rages after drinking and blackout" angle.

I like to notice how when Johnny testified, Amber stared straight at him with a very intimidating look. While, when Amber is testifying, Johnny keeps his head down, and avoids eye contact with her. I think this can show who is really being hurt the most along with many other things that goes into this case. It’s truly embarrassing to watch Amber with so much ambition and confidence that she can convince the jury that she is a victim.

re-watching this after the verdict.... it's funny how she has no idea how she's coming across. it's like she has no self awareness. when she's asked about her career and life, she has this look in her eyes of magic, fun, story telling and it's not really the vibe ANY victim would have, even as the subject is still on the lighter side. they are still sitting right in from of their abuser and knowing which questions are to come so already from the jump, i feel like she lost me. because she immediately gives off this vibe that does not match the situation. then she cues her fake non tears and it all goes to the pooper. I am so beyond relieved that the jury had the same gut reaction as me and most of us. i was so worried. alas there is still justice in this world.
@katiegriffin7597

I agree, especially when you say it’s not how any victim would act. A lot of people are saying not all victims are the same and you don’t know how they will act, and I also believe that is true. However, while it’s impossible to determine how any victim WILL act, it’s also possible to say how any victim WON’T act. Every victim of DV and/or SA is different but no one who has gone through this should look as excited as she is to be up there.

When Johnny testified, he was so honest, he talked about BOTH of their wrong doings.. He would way "WE would argue back and forth", "WE would start arguing".. He talked about his drug use, bad words, everything.. But she completely painted herself as an innocent damsel in destress.. Totally contradicting the recordings we heard.. She didn't even TRY to make her story sound consistent with the tapes.. And she claims that she was the one to walk away and he would go after her?!.. She even went as far as to claim that she saved him many times.. So she is not only a victim, but also a HERO... Throughout the entire trial Johnny never looked at Amber.. Throughout the entire 14 days. Even today, he would only laugh and smirk at her lies... HOWEVER, he only looked at her ONCE! At the very end of her testimony today.. When she mentioned his daughter Lilly Rose who was "crying and afraid of her father"... Johnny's entire demeanor changed.. and for the first time I saw him genuinely angry.. He was fuming and he looked up at her for a good 2 seconds.. After that he was doing a lot of self pacifying motions while staring blankly near her... He just looked so angry that she brought his daughter into her lies...

She was 22 when they met and there were very few women on the planet who exceeded her beauty. For most the first requirement for a relationship, appearance, especially men. From what I've read and listened to, she seems sincere in her attempts to have him quit the drugs and alcohol. Certainly, that would indicate concern for his mental and physical health. And she allowed herself to become subservient to his desires. She acquiesced frequently. These are a number of reasons for a man to love a woman. Had he quit the drugs and booze there is a good chance they'd still be married. Unless they tired of each other which often happens in a marriage.

It’s TOO MUCH detail!! Makes you want to tell her she’s full of it. It’s exactly what Dr Curry said she uses flowery language and you’re left thinking what the heck did she just say???! I feel exhausted just listening

Just in the first 5 minutes you know she’s deceptive. Huge sign of deception is too much focus on the “prologue”…building your character up. Less focus on the “main event”. “I worked with deaf kids, soup kitchens”…what does this have to do with anything? Lip pursing, lots of “fluff”. Check out “behavioral arts” KZbin on her.

@@Bettyboop991, memory is not perfect. It's fuzzy. We focus on the most important. Normally, we say we don't know about some details, unless we're adding them. There are very bad things that happened to me, but I don't remember all details, and I'm not dramatic while trying to describe it. And, as far as I know, people try to avoid crying in those occasions. They cry because they fail to avoid it and need a pause. She looks like someone telling a story.

its difficult to objectively analyze Amber because everyone is already on Johnny's side, you have heard audio files and evidence to suggest Amber was aggressive. Everyone has already made up their mind about her, so of course we all "see the lies".

Borderline Personality Disorder and Domestic Abuser Amber Heard plays a version of herself in this Netflix documentary series where she tries to convince a jury she is not a domestic abuser. She portrays her character pseudo-well, but the plot holes in her stories are obvious. Line delivery is not natural and is over-rehearsed and over-delivered. Absolute garbage. "0/10" Johnny Depp makes a few cameo appearances and absolutely steals the show. "10/10" Tune in next week for the hottest new series "Amber Heard's Lawyers Trying To Find a Job".

As a trauma psychologist I have never heard a victim/trauma survivor talk like this. It feels like a script or something. It is very weird. I believe she is acting. Trauma survivors do not narrate things like this. 😒 For example, the red carpet thing would never be even mentioned. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Also a real abuser and narcissist would enjoy seeing their victims in pain… so notice how: When Johnny was in the stand: Amber NEVER took her eyes off him! When Amber was in the stand: Johnny didn’t want to look at her and instead focused on drawing.
