The reason why she is wearing what she is wearing is because they are trying to portray her as an abused person. Someone who has to cover her self up completely because of all the abuse. And try to make her look like she is doughty and no longer fashionable and able to show her body off. However, it does not come across that way.

I don't think they're so naive. Also her "plagiarising" Gone Girl sounds off. The girl of that movie is guilty, so why would she look at that kind of movies in order to prepare herself? In conclusion: either they're immensely incompetent, this was a pre-ordinated farce, or I am just paranoid.

They’re just trying to desexualize her since she’s made a career out of just being hot. They had her wear foundation and blush, etc but no eye makeup the first few days to show that sometimes people think she’s wearing no makeup at all when she isn’t wearing eye makeup because for some reason that proves she always wore makeup outside…except for that one time when she called TMZ to the courthouse on apparently the one day she decided not to wear any makeup to cover her fake bruise

@Ashley’s animation nation oh you’re not familiar with the statute of limitations? It’s pretty much a law that states if you don’t report a crime within a certain amount of time after it happened you aren’t allowed to charge them with it anymore. So let’s say someone hit me when I was 19, so if now I’m 27 depending on what state I live let’s say Oklahoma, which is 5 years for theirs,I’m not allowed to report it and try to get justice for the crime anymore. It needs to be within a certain time frame depending on the state which can range from 3 to 10 years again depending on the state.

Being r worded with a fucking bottle could actually kill you without medical attention. If she had just kept on smaller claims like how Johnny is emotionally abusive and controlling she would have had a much better chance. But she couldn't stand not being the ultimate strong better survivor so had to flourish it (while also stealing the story of her assistant surviving abuse).

She messed up in so many things (and it is a good thing she did 🤣) but that's usually what happens with people whose egos are so high and think they are smarter than everyone else.....she confidently thought people would belive her outrageous tales. She isn't as smart as she belives.. the fact she claimed each incident happened a day before a photo shoot, or some kind of public event (the met gala or a TV interview etc) proves it. I am sure there were occasions when they didnt have a public thing going on for a week... whenfabricating her stories she should have made it happen on one of those occasions

She also often refers to loving him still, in the article and on the stand. I cant look at my abuser and I feel far from love for him years later, i feel physically sick and disgusted when I see him. I also didnt go straight to a festival after the abuse stopped, after every aspect of your life being controlled and getting beaten for doing certain things, its SOOO hard to just get up and do everything you weren't allowed to do before without feeling extremely anxious. Nothing adds up

Gentle reminder not everyone reacts to trauma the same. I'm able to think about my abuser calmly, as long as I avoid thinking about the actual things he did to me. That being said, I experienced CSA as a kid, and I'm just about able to look at photos of my abuser, granted wih a level of discomfort, but the times I'd see him after the abuse I would feel awful and panicked. Last time I saw him, years ago now, I came up with an alaborate plan to prevent him seeing me. Many survivors can't bring themselves to be in the same room as their abuser, and while I was forced to when I was younger due to my circumstances, after not seeing him for many years I would honestly rather die than be around him. But my other friends who have experienced CSA have been able to have full conversations with their abusers, granted, due to the fact they were family members. One friend of mine went back to her abusers in her teens. It's horrible, but its how some people cope, they remove the person from the acts.

@@whatisthis1958 You’re right. People cope with things differently, some go back, some go numb, some get angry, some get sad. I wrote my comment in a trauma response from listening to AH and her BS. I would never want someone to think they are required to act or respond a certain way to trauma, that is terrible. It just rubbed me the wrong way how she said that he can’t look at her because he knows he’s guilty or some shit like that. Although, the entire trial has rubbed me the wrong way, Amber trying to backpedal and cover her ass to save face is just incredibly disrespectful to all DV victims out there, you know? Thank you for pointing that out, everyone is allowed to respond to trauma in their own way. There is no universal way to process nor recover from DV or any other traumas.

Im so ANGRY about how she describes her injuries and reacts when she’s called out on her bs. This whole case pisses me off so bad, as someone who has endured abuse from most of the people who were supposed to be positive role models, or someone you're supposed to be able to trust with your life (in the case of SO's), seeing how much she's trivializing things is just... I mean, my dad repeatedly hit my head against a wall like a speedbag, to my temple with each hit. His other punishments included mental emotional stuff and he wouldn't even do me the decency of using the belt part of his belt, he used the belt buckle... My mom got far worse but... Having known many others who've endured similar, especially r*pe... It's disgusting to see someone make it more difficult for the abused to get justice with something as high profile as this... As far as the tooth and lip thing, I've had that happen, hell, it was the corner of a milk crate, my canine hit the very pointed corner and went right through my lip... It bled but not blood spatter... Makes me wonder if anyone has actually ever hit her or if she's ever even sustained an injury. I hope she gets more than a slap on the wrist, seriously....
@animaegusanimagi2251
@animaegusanimagi2251 2 жыл бұрын
@@ObscuriaDragunAed yeah tell me about it! I too have had a split lip from someone throwing and IPod at me. I barely talked till it healed, and while blood did NOT splatter, it was very easily visible and something you wouldn’t want covered with makeup in case you get an infection or something similar. Again, even being slapped would leave a mark for anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days depending on how hard it was. Everything from her fear response to her recounts of “ her abuse” is all so maddeningly fake. For anyone else who’s gotten beat or hurt in anyway.. this is just sad. I remember every time it’s happened to me, but I don’t want to so my brain tries to repress it which ends with me forgetting a lot of stuff. i CERTAINLY don’t remember how dirty the carpet was or if I’d just dyed my dress, hell I don’t remember if I was even wearing shoes or skirts or pants like at all! I just remember the moment before it happened, during it, and the aftermath.

This isn't the same thing, but two years ago my dog was brutally attacked and almost had his whole throat ripped out by some other dogs. They tore an entire chunk of his throat off, skin and fur, and it ended up on our back patio where it happened. Obviously there was blood everywhere; my mom and I had to clean it all up with bleach and our garden hose after we came home from the vet. You can still see the bleach stains on the concrete. They shaved all his fur off to be able to properly treat the wounds and the scars were stitched up for about two weeks and visible for the rest of his life (another year). The scars literally changed the pattern and growth of his fur. The blood got on everything. His right ear never quite came up to its full height again because they had to take extra flesh to compensate for the chunk that got torn out and pull it backward to sew that side of his neck shut. Every single time I've heard Amber talk about her hair being ripped out in bloody chunks, that attack is the first thing I've thought of. And it makes me so, so angry that she is lying about something like that, because it wouldn't have been possible to hide the evidence on my dog, it wouldn't be possible to hide the evidence on her, and I can assure you we took as many pictures of his injuries and the crime scene as possible in case the owners of the other dogs tried to take us to court. Absolutely ridiculous.

The thing that really pushed me over the edge, that firmly branded Amber as completely full of shit, was her trying to present herself as an expert with makeup but saying that she *covered up* bruises by applying foundation, concealer, and THEN going in with color corrector. I'm sorry, but that just doesn't work. That's how you *create* the look of bruising, not cover it up. That combined with the actual evidence of her abusing him, the lack of independent evidence of injury to her, and her over the top performative nature during the trial made her totally lose all credibility

thats how i covered the brushes from my ex. so wtf you talking about. btw its not about working. its about trying to hide something, its a desparate atempt to fool the world and maybe even yourself. the fact that jonny doesnt look back at her actually speaks against him and not her. they both where abusive, jonny is just more charesmatic and as a man more calculative. my ex has beaten me up many times, but i have too because i loved him too much to leave yet i was not ready to just be "the victim" so i fought back, especially when he was high as fuck and not as agressiv and as strong as he usually was. leo is beeing a fucking ashole. like i said before, and i have had my nose broken and it did not swell at all, make up did do the job also i have had concucions and you coudnt see anything. and i did never go to a doctor, unless somebody called the ambulance and even then i tried to talk it off, i didnt take pictures of the really bad stuff since i was in such an emotional state and just out of my mind, pictures of minor bruises i have taken . leo so fucking off yet so confident, that i worry if he is so off on that maybe he is off on many things, but since i am not expirienced in those i just didnt realize. also i took pictures of my ex nodding out (which is not the same as sleepy) to show him and also out of frustation sending in to my friends. also the drug topic. leo, like the lawyer you know nothing about drugs.. so just shut it. you thinking nodding out on heroin is the same as you feeling sleepy and even claiming jonny might just have been tired like you would have after such a shift. amber and jonny are druggies and thats like beeing on a whole other planet, you cannot understand leo, no "non druggie" can, i understand ambers frustatiion about the drugs topic, the mainstream isnt on our "planet"

tbh as a male who’s been physically abused in a relationship i can say that one if they hit you that shit is gonna mark. i’m not the darkest person but i am also not the lightest either and even my skin would be red or bruised from some of the nights my ex would hit me. number two though i never planned to tell or show anyone i always took pictures just for myself tbh so i don’t understand how she’s taken so many pictures of jonny so many pictures of other things everything except her severely bruised or hurt. kinda weird… it just sucks because people really don’t think men can be abused by women or in general and it’s just not true and to see her try and spin this shit is gross man.

So I have had my teeth go through my lip before. There was a lot of blood, 8 stitches and a very large amount of swelling localized on the upper lip around the wound. Its is most definitely something you would take a picture of, even if not trying to gather evidence, just because it looked wild. And many, many people noticed it and asked about it. Because you have a huge lip and stitches hanging out of your face, you cant miss it. I have a permanent 5 0'clock shadow but if I clean shave you can pretty easily pick the scar. Its not massive and chunky but it there and you can tell what it is at a glance. What she describes is like the crappy movies she is in where peoples faces get all busted up and they are fine a couple days later. In the REAL world if you get busted up, it leaves permanent evidence

Either Amber's lawyers wanted the truth to come out as well or that they're too stressed to mentally process the questions, which both's probably accurate. Two of her male lawyers were observed acting cold or rolling their eyes on Amber, while Elaine was seen running out the Court room crying after the verdict. I'm guessing Elaine and some of the other lawyers were her long-time lawyers who didn't work personally with Amber and suddenly has to be thrown into Court or the other lawyers thought this was a legitimate case of abuse and picked it up, only to find out that Amber's presented evidence was absolutely taken out of context.

I have such a hard time believing that you could punch someone in the face violently and repeatedly with a handful of chunky, textured rings and not do a huge amount of damage. Surely there would be facial fractures at some point if it happened in the brutal ways she described and I can't imagine a scenario where she wouldn't have cuts on her face and splits in her skin. My partner was abused in a past marriage - mentally and emotionally and through control and the slow removal of any support system. There was a single incident of physical violence, on their honeymoon, where she backhanded my partner across the face. Her wedding ring left a long cut to the skin. Just from that one, quite delicate ring.

I work in a special school and got punched in the eye by an 11 year old boy (lucky punch, I just wasn't quick enough) and the side of my face was swollen for 4 days, even though I applied ice regularly and I have a black eye withing 12 hours, that lasted for 3 weeks before it totally disappeared. At the beginning of week 2 I went to a make up artist to try and get her to cover it as I was going out, and even after using multiple products and using colours to correct it, you could still see a slight bruise. If she had been hit repeatedly with rings by a full grown adult, her face would have been a mess, like Rhianna's after Chris Brown punched her 3 times.

If she broke her nose there would be some kind of tell and she has a perfectly symmetrical nose so her claim that he broke it is hilarious. Also, she could very easily prove this by going and getting an x-ray, did she do that? no. Because she refuses to go get proof for all of the injuries she supposedly sustained we are all inclined to not believe her and for good reason. It's more than suspicious when a person claims theyre injured in a court but has not a single medical record to back it up and doesnt go get one.

To be fair, the lawyers themselves aren’t the issue, they just had ZERO to work with from her. It’s hard to defend a liar.

It feels like Amber either read or watched Gone Girl and thought “neat I could do that” but didn’t have skill or dedication to pull it off.

15:35 pop quiz a drug addict gets "punched in the face" then goes to the bathroom, doesn't notice a nosebleed on the mirror, does something in the bathroom, comes out and has a nosebleed they didn't notice. What's more likely A. She punched her nose until it bled, or B. She took a fat line and it caused a bleed that she didn't notice because she was too busy snorting.

The drug schedule is so funny; it reminds me of a time I had a friend like that, but more strict. We went on a snow trip, stayed in a cabin for a weekend. He printed out and LAMINATED a schedule for us which included: 8am -get up and dressed 9am - LSD 9:15am - breakfast 9:30am - clean up 10am - Adventure walk Now, this would normally be fine *but* NOBODY wants to do acid at 9am. I think that was one of the worst days of my life, and such a shame because it was a beautiful place. This guy scheduled our *whole* weekend and it definitely ruined it 😂😂😂 Glad Johnny has his reputation back

The best thing about Camille's leading objections is that she could so easily have requested to treat Heard as hostile during cross and ask leading questions all she wanted herself. But she was good enough, smart enough, to not need to use leading questions.

it sucks bc I am a domestic abuse survivor and I never took any photos of anything that happened to me, bc it was horrible and I was hysterical when I would get hit so I would never think of taking a photo in one of my worst moments of my life. I hate listening to her be questioned about the photos, I don't believe amber I'm not on her side but it makes me feel sick listening to them go on and on about photos

Yeah… sometimes when you’re in the middle of it, you either don’t have the time, clarity or even desire to document it. I find a lot of the narrative of how survivors “should” act to be super concerning.

I am really sorry to hear you've been through that, I hope you are now safe and getting the support you need, whether professional or from friends. I think it's important to note with Amber, the reason they go on about photos is because she did provide some, but all the ones were submitted were clearly doctored (they even pulled up a data log that showed which app she used) or simply not fitting with her statements. It's not that she didn't produce any pictures to come in support of her allegations, it's that she did produce them, but they were easy to prove they were set up, edited or double-dated (she claimed two separate incidents of abuse dates months apart were attached to the exact same photo, some wine spilled on a wooden floor). And of course, the very next day after she alleged the abuse happened, there are photos of her looking perfectly fine. They aren't questioning her not taking *any* photos of abuse, they are questioning her taking some sketchy photos of 'mild injuries' (mild in contrast with the abuse she is describing), yet absolutely none of the other horrific things she described. It is not representative of your situation, or the situation of any other victim of abuse who is too frightened to take photos. If you were in a similar situation, rest assured there would be other circumstantial evidence on your side.

@@andradatomoni5909 that does help to know, because y'know PTSD doesn't exactly go away when faced with logic always and I know that it's only upsetting bc I went through *actual* abuse when amber didn't, they're talking about DA and SA in court and taken out of the context of the larger trial and everything mentioned in it, it just can sound shitty to survivors to listen to people discuss how she's lying in court due to photographs... photographs that she doctored, true, but due to how our justice system works they have to poke holes in her story. just another reason I'm disgusted with amber, because she doesn't care or isn't smart enough to realize that she drags every actual survivor down with her charade.

Right! Same! I can never think fast enough to record the abuse bc I am hyperventilating and so upset. This resulted in a Temporary Protective order being dropped for "lack of evidence" when I was pregnant 😢

I am a (female) kickboxer, and even with those fluffy gloves you get a lot of marks on your face and body. There is NO WAY the amount of violence she described doesnt leave cuts, swealing, broken bones and horrific bruises on her face. No amount of makeup covers that, and I really tried (didnt wanna show up with marks on my face to work).
